Chapter 7

[Author's notes: Brought to you by cutting a lot of slack from preparations for my graduation! I'll try to update as frequently as possible. Still, the updates will be inconsistant. And uhm, do post your comments if you have any. Thank you and do enjoy. I hope.]

Shocked expressions displayed on all but Luise’s, Alessa’s and the man’s face. Eleanor disturbed at their interaction, Christine intrigued at how the latter could even call that ‘fat’, Jenath surprised at how any difference could be told and Millia; Mill, being told so. No changes in expression were shown on the other three’s features.

“Have… I…?” Millia muttered. Her voice was weak and shaky, and her hands on Luise drifted upwards out of the latter’s shirt.

“Yeah.” Luise replied insipidly, withdrawing her arms and resting them at the elbow on her armrest.

Jenath turned to Luise and asked with a raised eyebrow.

“How’d you know just like that?”

Looking back at her, Luise shrugged and answered.

“I just do. Like a touch and intuition thing.”

Anger and jealousy grew within Jenath as she looked up at Millia still shocked from the comment.

“So,” Jenath starts off, her tone piercing, “how long have you been fucking her, pedophile?”

“Ouch.” Millia faked a wince at that and shot back at her. “You aren’t much better off, darling sister.”

Right before Jenath could reply, Christine raised the question, believing that Eleanor is interested in as well.

“Before you continue, what’s the link around here? Like who is related to whom by what and stuff like that.”

Immediately, Millia and Jenath spurred more insults onto each other.

“Pedophile!”

“Incest!”

They stretched out their arms and pointed at one another’s face. Jenath half rose from her seat. Luise, caught in between their argument, answered Christine’s queries while the other two continued to restrain their desire to throttle one another.

On the other side of campus, heads turn and ponder at a familiar face walking around their campus ground. The topic of discussion and much commotion was a young man who appeared to be no older than twenty in years. He wore an old grey tee, frayed jeans and plain navy sneakers. His hair short and in shades of brown. Many rounds he circled bout the same portion of the campus, ranting how he wish he wasn’t lost alone.

“Aww crud. How I wish that Luise was here and lost with me… And my dumb cell is dead.”

Finally too annoyed with whining in circles, he loosened his tense expression and asked for directions. A studio taken picture was grasp in his hand and presented to whomever he approached.

“Have you seen anyone besides him,” pointing to himself in the picture, “anywhere within these grounds? In person of course.”

He approached a number of students, most shaking their heads and proceeding in their own direction, others either squealed in ecstasy ‘EEEEEEK! IT’S THEM! IT’S THEM!’ or acted oblivious to his presence. Soon enough, fatigue, hunger and annoyance overcame him and his course changed. To the nearest place that has chairs and refreshments. He walked straight towards the short building which he had overseen each and every time he circled.

Millia has her arms around Luise’s neck, resting on her shoulders and slouched on the younger girl. A smug smile frozen on her face as she does. Eleanor’s eyes fixed on her cell phone’s screen as her fingers danced on its keypad. Christine continued flirting with Luise, who partly responded to it, part chatting with the tall guy for all the things she had missed out.

“Se, is Lloyd coming over too?”

Se, the tall guy sitting with Alessa, peered at his watch and answered seeming a little surprised.

“Yeah, he should be. Called him over ‘bout an hour ago.”

Millia slid her body lower down till her head was at the same height as Luise’s, resting on her head on the latter’s shoulder instead. She turned her head to face Luise and whined in a low disappointed tone.

“Aw~ Am I not enough for you?”

She leaned in just about to lick Luise’s earlobe but was interrupted when Jenath jumped up at her and pulled her away violently. Intrigued, she vociferated in defense for her younger sibling who showed no care to the most recent events.

“Don’t taint her with your pedophilic filth!”

Jenath swapped positions with Millia, hugging Luise back against herself, keeping a distance between the two. Millia got back up to her feets and took over Jenath’s chair, her right leg crossed over her left as she slouch down into the seat sipping the latter’s cold coffee.

“Right… Whatever ‘big sister’”

Her tone mockingly, emphasizing on the last two words. Jenath instantly shot an angered expression back at the source.

“Very loved you are.”

Christine commented upon watching another brawl of jealousy. Luise sighed at the comment and rose from her seat breaking away from Jenath’s grip.

“Think I’ll attend class for once.”

Everyone around the table froze in action and looked at Luise with surprise written all over their faces. Christine stared with her eyes wider than usual; Eleanor’s fingers paused on her keypad and peered up at the latter without moving her body. Alessa and Se paused in their conversation, Se looking normal while Alessa seemed just very shocked. Millia and nearly spat cold coffee out but managed to hold it back and swallowed it all down.

“Ah… Okay….” Jenath mumbled in a fading voice as her arms fell lifelessly to her sides.

Eleanor broke from her state first and continued to stare down at her screen and resumed what she was doing. Nonchalantly, she let out a single ‘okay’ and accepted it.

“Finally being a normal student for once. Nice.”

Se praised Luise and supported her decision by giving her his usual supportive smile. Alessa agreed weakly with a small single nod, still partially in the state of shock.

Christine chuckled and supported her latest fling sarcastically.

“Have fun.”

She tried to sound as encouraging as possible but failed and was returned with a kiss on the lips when Luise paused behind her chair, bent down over and surprise her once more.

“I’ll try.”

Millia shut her eyes calmed herself down and placed the coffee back on the table. Jenath tried to return from her state of shock. Her eyes followed Luise’s fleeing figure and when the latter had walked three tables down, she exclaimed.

“Wha- NO! You can’t leave us!”

“Why not?”

Luise looked back with a raised eye brow at Jenath who stood with her face flushed searching for excuses in her mind. Millia rose from her seat too and walked forth approaching Luise. Halfway there, she looked behind her shoulder at Jenath giving her a look of cold seriousness for a brief moment before continuing on. Her expression returned to a mischievous and lustful grin as she ensnares Luise in her arms again. Holding the poor girl back, she whispers in her usual playful tone.

“’Cause we’ll be so~ lonely without you. Are classes more important than us who love you so very helplessly?”

Before Luise protested against their protests, Se took her side and aided her.

“Let her have a normal life for a day at least. You don’t want the school’s director to be suspending her now, would you?”

“Actually,” Millia pause for a moment allowing the word to linger in the air for a while before continuing, “I do.”

Jenath retrieved her composure and teamed with Millia against Se and Luise.

“Yeah. If she gets suspended, she’ll be around more often. I could give her private tuition on whatever she is missing out.”

“We.” Millia added on right away.

At the thought of private tuition, Luise rolled her eyes and tried squirming out of Millia’s grip which tightened at that attempt.

“Not to mention, my pops is acquainted with the director. That fucker comes over like every week and does something kinky with my pops in the office. And according to my superior information, little Luise here has no other lessons for another three hours. Am I wrong?”

At her last sentence, Millia brushed her victim’s bangs out of the way and kissed her forehead. Sounding confident, Millia challenged Se to his side with Luise.

“Anymore challenges to our superiority? If none, final decision is that she stays.”

“Um, well,” Alessa attempted feebly, “maybe she just wants some fresh air for a change.”

Instantly, Jenath shot at her annoyed, “have you forgotten who you are to serve? Do you wish to serve her instead of I?!”

“No miss, I haven’t. I was brought to serve the master but have been dispatched to assure the safety and well-being of Miss Luise and yours.”

“Very well. Then you do understand your job right now?”

“Yes. To gain Miss Luise’s freedom and if your arrogance is to resume, I am but to report it to the master and both your accounts would be frozen till further notice.”

Jenath was stunned beyond words and Luise, displayed gratitude, knowing the consequences if both of their bank accounts were to be frozen. Luise felt the wad of cash in the seat pocket of her jeans which provided her assurance as she gave a challenging Jenath. The latter reached for her bank book and card which proved pointless when Alessa stood up and flashed her cell phone, the master’s number already on display and a finger on the dial button. Just then, the doors swung open and grumbling entered the scene. The new customer glance the room and caught the awkward group in an instance.

“Oh~. Another sibling rivalry with a nosey third party!”

Luise pushed herself away forcefully and turned around to the new customer.

“Lloyd!”

“Luise!”

Luise and Lloyd jumped and shouted in glee in presence of each other and everyone else. Living in a world of their own at the moment, they continued jumping and shouting.

“Where in the fucking hell have you been?!”

“I don’t know! Where you were!”

“You were lost?!”

“Yeah!”

Lloyd admitted in the state of ecstasy which caused Luise to break out in laughter and Se doing the just the same in his seat.

“I can’t believe you actually got lost. But then again, it is you.”

Luise mocked his sense of direction but was rebutted immediately.

“No-goddamn-one would give me any hint of directions!”

“No good Lloyd,” Luise turned down his excuse, trying to contain her laughter.

“You have to try harder than that to convince anyone that you actually do have a proper sense of direction.”

Lloyd raised an eyebrow and flashed the picture which he had been flashing for the past twenty minutes and challenged Luise once more.

“Try this.”

Luise took the picture from his hand and looked at it closely. Millia walked over and peered down over Luise’s shoulder.

“Nostalgic.”

Putting her arms around Luise’s waist again, she leaned forth and asked in her usual tone once more.

“So, staying or leaving love?”
