Chapter 1
[Author's notes: This is the first of the Freind for Starfire story. I currently have about 3 sections done, three parts per section. I hope to have the fourth done soon.

Friend For Starfire
Part one: Starfire's Solo sweep: Meeting Kashmire
It had taken the better part of two weeks to convince Robin to let her take a solo sweep, Starfire felt she could handle it though Robin didn't like risking her. The other's had stayed out of the discussion for obvious reasons. Starfire had eventually wore him down and he agreed to a late night Wednesday sweep for two reasons, it was the middle of the week and there would not be anyone out. Starfire was soo happy to have her chance and made sure to double cheek each sweep point, being very careful. She was on her final sweep back toward the bay when a swarm of mini-missiles rose up from an alley trying to hit her. Starfire tried to dodge but got caught in the blast and fell onto a roof. She shook her head clear and stood up.
"From where did that attack come? There were no enemies here earlier."
Her answer came when a Slade bot climbed over the edge of the roof, then another and another. She reached for her comm. only to find it had been blown off by the blast.
"I should not fear, I can handle several of these..."
Her sentence trailed off as there were more than several, almost 3 dozen or more!
"I am in trouble..."
"Hey, need a hand?"
Starfire and the bots actually paused to look around.
"Up here..."
The voice emanated from a girl about Starfire's age. She was dressed normally, short hiking boots, shorts, a t-shirt and red jacket, her hair in two ponytails. The thing that wasn't quite normal was the fact that she was floating over them!!
"Need some help."
"Most appreciated strange girl."
"Good on three, go straight up as fast as you can."
Starfire noticed an odd glow behind the girl's hand.
"Three!"
Starfire shot straight up as she girl let what looked like a point of light fall toward the roof, just before it hit, it expanded to fist sized and exploded, sending Slade bots into the air in bits.
"Thank you for helping me." Starfire said as she hovered over the girl.
"No problem...opps, problem." she said as several bots survived and were flying at them. She turned and flew off toward the bay. As they flew after her she pivoted and flew backwards, putting a mobile shield between her and them, grinning. The bots poured on the speed as she dove toward the bay then back to the shore. The bots followed as planned, Starfire was waiting. She had sensed the strange girl's plan and positioned herself to catch them. As the bots flew under her she unleashed a storm of star bolts, obliterating them all! The girl smiled, they had completely forgot about their first target who know took out the last of them.
"Good shooting tex...not bad at all."
"Many thanks, but who are you?"
"Name's Kashmire, and you?"
"Starfire...are you from earth??"
"Nope, I'm from way out in space."
"So am I!! From which world do you originate."
"Maris Prime, in the Marisian Cluster."
"Maris Prime!! That is only two light-years from Tamarin, my home world!!"
"Tamaranian huh, that does explain a lot...what are you doing all the way out here?"
"I am a Teen Titan, I protect the city with my friends."
"Titan huh, I've heard you do good work. Glad to know there's another girl like me in the city."
"Agreed, you must come meet my friends."
"Well, to be honest, I have to be somewhere, tell you what, tomorrow night, same time, I'll meet you at the giant T you call home, on the roof."
"Agreed, we shall talk of things, then you must meet my friends, they will be most surprised."
"Okay, deal...I'll see you tomorrow night."
Starfire waved as Kashmire turned and flew off into the city, another girl from her sector, what wonderous news. She raced to the tower, only to be the subject of a question and answer period.
"Where were you, you're late?!"
"I am unharmed, there was an attack by Slade bots..."
"Slade??? Why didn't you call..."
"I lost my communicator when the missiles exploded..."
"Missiles???"
"Do not be worried Robin, Kashmire saved me."
"Kashmire?"
"Yes, a girl from my sector of space...she is living here on Earth, I will be seeing her tomorrow night...it is wonderous!"
"Wait, a Tamaranian??"
"No, no, a Marisian, a neighboring world."
"Oh...wait, you're gonna see her tomorrow night? Are you sure she isn't an agent of Slade?"
"I do not know, but she is the first I have met who is like me and I do wish to speak with her again. I shall ask her upfront if she is involved with Slade."
"Where are you meeting?"
"On the roof, but do not join us...she may be nervous around you."
"Okay, but we'll be close enough to come to your aid if you need it."
"Many thanks Robin...I must rest now."
After Starfire left, Robin relayed the what she said to the others.
"Dude, another alien girl? That's all we need.", Beastboy gripped.
"I don't know, if she turns out clean, she could be good for Star to spend time with.", Cyborg commented.
"I'm just curious as to how this girl has gone undetected for soo long.", Raven pondered.
"Starfire didn't say, but we'll be ready, we are not to get involved with their meeting, so we'll have to stay down here, but be ready for anything."
Part two
Dinner out: Kashmire's suspicions
As the sun set, Starfire sat on the edge of the tower, wondering if her new friend really would come. Downstairs the others prepared to comfort her with this girl she had met didn't show. It would be about an hour before Kashmire floated up over the side of the tower.
"Hey, how you weren't waiting long?"
"I am fine, I did worry you would not come though."
"Hey, a promise is a promise...so, shall we talk?"
"Yes...there is much I wish to know about you."
"There is a lot and not a lot to say."
"Then I shall ask this first...How did you get here?"
"Ahh, the eternal question. Well, as best as I can remember, my folks left Maris Prime when I was little, we traveled a lot, seeing other worlds. When I was old enough, I decided to set off on my own. By accident, I ended up crashing here."
"Oh...so you did not plan to visit this world."
"Oh I planned on visiting, didn't plan on a meteor knocking me out of orbit." "Ahhh, I see, please continue."
"For a while, I spent time trying to learn about the planet, but everyone seemed wary of me, till I met my friends who helped me settle in and get adjusted."
"Wonderous, friends make any place a home."
"That is true. What about you?"
"I came here to find myself, to fine my place...and with my friends I have found it."
"That's great, listen, lets get something to eat, I know a place on the wharf you might like."
"Really?"
"Yeah, my treat, call it a girls night out."
"I should inform my friends first."
"Sure so they don't think I kidnapped you."
Starfire smiled and opened her communicator.
"Friends I will return shortly, I am attending dinner..."
"Okay, just be careful."
"Of course."
Starfire smiled and floated up, Kashmire following suit...
"What does this place serve?"
"Seafood, like you get on Tarsis."
"Really?? I love Tarsisian seafood!"
The pair winged toward the wharf...Robin was almost ready to send Beastboy after them, but Raven stepped in.
"Let her go, she needs to spend time with someone who knows about her past. To be honest, I think it's a good thing for her to have a new friend."
"Okay, this isn't like you Raven, you normal would be against it." Cyborg commented.
"True, but how often does she get the chance to make a new friend who knows of her homeworld and it's customs."
"True, and I think Star can handle herself."
"Okay but you two better be ready for anything, hey, BB you got any comments."
"Nope."
The café, as it was, was only a little hole in the wall place. Starfire was nervous walking into the place, it seemed dark and smoky. Kashmire smiled and pulled her along. The bartender was about to say something to the two obviously underage girls when Kashmire said something in another language. His face lit with a smile and he gestured to a door in the back.
"What did you say?"
"Two Tarsisian specials."
"Oh...so he knows of other planet's foodstuffs?"
"He's from Yaris, so he's been around."
"A Yarisian?? They only leave their world as traders."
"Yep, he's the local off world specialist, if you need anything, you come see him."
"Wonderous."
In the back, Starfire was amazed to find a much cleaner, more homey place. It was like being on another world. The bartender smiled.
"I don't get many off-worlders here this hour."
"There are more?"
"Sure, a lot come through this sector, mostly traders, smugglers and the like, but good folks all around."
"I am curious if you know of my world."
"Let me guess, Tamaranian?"
‘Yes!!"
"Good world, odd food but good people."
Starfire smiled and sat down as the bartender served two large drinks.
"Yarisian Ale??"
"Yep, brew it myself, it's good stuff, but don't drink too much, with your metabolism, this should be okay."
"Don't worry, I'll make sure she gets home okay.", Kashmire smiled.
The bartender left to get the meals as Starfire sampled her drink.
"Wonderous, I have not had such flavor in such a long while."
"Well, just as long as you remember to invite me along, we can eat here a lot."
"I agree...it is good to get out with a fellow alien...if that is a correct term to use."
"I guess it is...since we are both from other worlds."
"Kashmire...I am glad we met, I have been a long time without someone who knows of my world."
"Well, to be honest, I'm glad to be able to relax and not worry about hiding my powers."
"Why would you hide them?"
"Not every human understands our abilities."
"That I know as a fact. If not for my friends, I fear that I may have been attacked or hurt when I arrived."
"I was...a few times, but I got lucky and met others who understood."
The bartender served up the seafood dished and left them.
"I see that much hasn't changed on Tarsis." Kashmire said, poking her dish.
"Yes, most delicious!!"
Kashmire sighed and laughed as she dug in. The pair ate in silence for a while, focused on the meal. Kashmire finally broke the silence.
"Star, would you like to go downtown with me later this week?"
"I would like that greatly!"
"Good, I'll be a good chance for us to get out and enjoy some fresh air."
"Yes. I'm sure we will find much fun."
Kashmire tossed some coins on the table to cover the meal and stood and stretched.
"We better get going, your friends will be worried."
"Um...there is something I must ask, for my sake."
"Yes?"
"Are you in the employ of one called Slade?"
"Slade...hmmm, don't think I know that name."
"I am glad, he is most evil."
"Then I'll be sure to avoid him."
Starfire nodded and followed Kashmire out and up into the night sky. The pair leisurely flew to the tower, landing to find a greeting party, Robin and Raven.
"So, this is your new friend Star?"
"Yes, this is Kashmire, friend, these are my friends Raven and Robin."
"Nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too. Star, we were wondering what took so long?"
"That would be my fault, the place we ate at is a bit specialist so it took time to get the meal."
"Do not be worried friends, I was safe."
Robin nodded and lead Starfire downstairs, Starfire talking about the meal. Raven turned to Kashmire.
"Soo...you are from space too? Don't look like it." She said, walking with Kashmire.
"I've had to adjust to survive, wasn't as lucky as Star."
"I see, we worry about her sometimes."
"I know, and for what it's worth, she's safe with me..."
"I need to ask you something...what are your intentions?"
"Intentions?? Outside making a new friend who understands me...not much."
"I see...so...you have no other, interests in her?"
"I think I get where you are going with this and no...I don't...but I'm not the worried one."
Raven managed to hide a blush under her hood.
"Listen Raven, Star's a special girl, it's good to have a friend like her. Listen, if you ever need to talk or stuff, let me know, Starfire knows how to contact me."
"Okay..."
"Night."
Kashmire rose up into the night sky and flickered then disappeared. Raven was still blushing, had she given too much away??
Part 3
Shopping Trip: Explanations and feelings
Kashmire met Starfire early two days later. They pair headed out into the city to explore. Starfire enjoyed being with Kashmire, it was like having a sister who didn't want to kill her on a regular basis. Kashmire enjoyed being around Starfire, she was a breath of fresh air, a change from all those normal earthlings around her all the time. It was good to be reminded of home. The pair wandered the park, walked on the beach and headed toward down town, the whole time talking about this and that.
"So let me get this straight, your sister tried to frame you for theft, then tried to take the crown of your home world."
"That is true."
"And you let her live...that's compassion."
"Would you have done different?"
"Yes I would have, but then again, I haven't had an easy go of life."
"How so?"
"well, I've been on my own for most of it. Only here on earth did I find friends, and you."
"I see, so you have had troubles before?"
"Many...but my friends back me up. Keep me from getting into worse trouble."
"Friends are good for that."
They rounded a corner, again Kashmire noticed the stares they got. She sighed, it was the same everywhere, she realized that Starfire did stand out, but she knew that Starfire didn't notice the attention either.
"Star, what's Tamarin like?"
"It is a wonderous world, the people strong and proud, there is much celebrating and kinsman ship around."
"I don't remember much about my world...I was little when my folks left to travel. I plan on going back, as soon as I can repair my ship."
"You own a ship??"
"Yep, it's a bit busted but my crew is working on it."
"I would like to see it."
"Well, as soon as it's in one piece, I'll bring you and your friends to see it."
"That would be wonderous."
Kashmire smiled as she decided to do something nice. She took Starfire's hand and lead her toward the shopping mall. She picked a clothing store and smiled.
"It's time you got some local color Star."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, it's time you try wearing local clothes."
"Is there something wrong with what I wear?"
"Not at all. When I got here, I wore my peoples clothes, but everyone seemed to keep me at arm's length, not sure who or what I was. When I started to dress like them, they seemed to accept me more. Mind you, I don't mind that outfit you're wearing, very cute-sexy."
Starfire blushed a bit, perhaps that is how Kashmire went undetected and did not become a Titan, she blended in. Starfire wasn't sure what to do but she was willing to try.
"Here you go, try these on. We'll pick two outfits for you."
Starfire nodded and went into the changing room. The first outfit was the earth equivalent of her normal one. A cute sleeveless top and skirt, both green. She exited and showed Kashmire.
"Very nice, I think we'll stick with green since it matches your eyes...try the other one."
"Okay."
The other outfit was more covering, green slacks, and a green t-shirt with a red star on the front. She felt funny being soo covered but she did like the way it looked and felt.
"I do enjoy this outfit, it is soo different, there is soo much I do not yet know about earth culture."
"That is true, and there is a lot you don't need to know about...trust me...earth can be a confusing place, even when you know it all."
"I see...what should I know then."
"Well to be honest. Not too much. Just what your friends teach you, and a few things I know."
Kashmire smiled, paid for the outfits and lead Starfire to a local café.
"Okay, earth 101, basic stuff. I'm sure your friends have helped you with questions and such right?"
"Yes...they have been most informative."
"Good, then I've only got a few things to teach you then. First off, cultures, earth's got a lot of them. Pick one that suits your homeworld, I think you'd enjoy the Japanese or Chinese culture, much like home. Two, clothes, we've already got you started on that. Wear your normal outfit for battle, earth clothes don't stand up too well in combat. Three, hobbies, do you have any?"
"Outside of my Tamaranian hobbies, no..."
"That's okay, try picking up something that sounds fun. Ask your friends and they'll keep you from picking something you might not like or might not be right for you."
"I see, there is soo much to learn."
"One more thing...do you share a room with that darkly cute girl, Raven?"
"No. We all have our own rooms."
"Hmm, interesting, listen Starfire, there is one thing I'm sure they didn't tell you about. Girl love."
"Girl love?"
"Yep, listen, I know the looks when I see them. You and Raven shared something once...you were closer than the boys right?"
"Yes...in fact, we had our minds switched by an evil puppet and had to learn about one and other to survive."
"That's closer than I thought...oh well...listen to me Starfire, Raven feels something for you, I can sense it...but she won't say or do anything about it."
"Then should I??"
"Yes...but it won't be easy...I can't show you what to do, that would taint it for you both, but I can tell you..."
"Please, educate me..."
"Okay....."
An hour later, Starfire was still in shock...
"You are serious, that is what girls who love do?"
"Yep, from a pro too, I'm like that with my girlfriend."
"You are like that? Amazing...but will she agree?"
"You have to be slow and gentle at first, like I told you...trust me, she will respond to you."
"I...am unsure but I do know that since the event that changed us, I...have thought of her fondly very often. Perhaps, she and I need to discuss this feeling."
"Good, now, let's go have some fun."
"What kind of fun..."
"The only kind girls like us can."
Kashmire shouldered the bag and floated off the ground. Starfire smiled and followed her up.
"Okay, catch me!!", Kashmire laughed and took off toward the bay! Starfire shot off after her, laughing as she tried to catch Kashmire, who dodged and twisted through the sky over the bay. They played tag for a good hour before Kashmire landed on top of the tower. She smiled as Starfire landed and hugged her.
"It is good to play like that..."
"Thought you would enjoy it. Lets show your new stuff to your friends."
The boys were out at the moment, only Raven was home. She was surprised to see Star and Kashmire back. Starfire hid behind Kashmire.
"I thought you two were shopping?"
"Called it quits, need your opinion though."
"Oh what?"
Starfire stepped out from behind Kashmire, wearing her new green top and skirt. Raven's eyes widened just a bit, she managed to keep control of her reactions well, Kashmire made a mental note.
"That's...wow...that's soo you Star."
"Many Thanks Raven, I was hoping you would approve."
"Why would you need my approval?"
"You are my best friend, I value your judgments and comments."
Raven paused, not sure what was going on. Kashmire smiled.
"Well, I'm off...you two have a fun day, I have to go check out a rumor."
"About what?"
"Oh, someone saw a nut with a big gun running around, nothing I can't handle."
Before Raven could say anything, Kashmire was out the door. She sat there, Starfire smiling at her...
Chapter 2

Part 4: Starfire's confrontations: Her feels for Raven
Starfire walked over and took Raven's gloved hand.
"Raven, I must discuss something with you in private...may we use your room."
"I guess so, what's soo important..."
"I will tell you when we are in private."
Raven felt her cheeks begin to flush, she fought it down...why was she feeling this way again...hadn't she purged those thoughts?? Starfire lead them to Raven's room and locked the door, sitting on Raven's bed.
"Raven...this is not easy for me to say...so I will just say what I feel."
"What are you talking about Star?"
"Raven, ever since the puppet incident, you...you have been in my thoughts often, I am most fond of you Raven, I feel closer to you than anyone else."
"Star I..."
"Please Raven...let me speak still...I...I believe that what I feel is more important than anything I have ever felt for anyone...please Raven...tell me you feel it too."
Raven looked away from her, her hood pulled up...she couldn't tell her...she couldn't admit it...it would be weak of her...wouldn't it?? She...she couldn't hurt Star like that...to lie to her...she was too important to her...she slowly pulled her hood back, turning to face Starfire, her cheeks lightly blushing.
"Star...I...I think about you a lot too...ever since we shared that moment, learning of each other's pasts...I...I can't lie to you...I do feel that way too...it's hard for me to express my emotions...you know my powers are controlled by them."
"I know ...I also know you won't hurt me...and I know that these are real feelings..."
"Star...the boys...they...they wouldn't approve..."
"I do not need their approval to say this...Raven...I love you..."
"Star...I....I.....I love you!!" Raven said as she tossed herself into Starfire's arms, almost weeping from the emotional release, Starfire held her close, the pair laying on the bed as they shared another special moment. After a while...Raven sat up.
"What does this mean to you and Robin..."
"I love you in a way that doesn't not affect how I feel for Robin."
"I see..."
"Do not think that he could ever make me not love you Raven..."
"I know...it's just...never mind..."
Raven laid back down, Starfire rolled to drape her arm and leg across Raven's body. Fully clothed, they pair looked soo cute together. Raven began to gently caressed Starfire's hair, she tilted her head a bit and kissed the top of Starfire's head. Starfire smiled and snuggled closer.
"Raven...may I ask a question?"
"Sure..."
"I am unsure what girls do...though I have an idea...would you...show me?"
"I...I'm not sure what to do either...I've read...stuff...but..."
"Perhaps it would be best if we learn, together?"
Raven blushed and smiled a bit.
"Okay...hold on."
Raven got up and closed the air vents to her room.
"There, now we're safe."
Starfire giggled, Beastboy was a peeping tom, if that was the right words. Raven paused at the edge of the bed and took off her cape, Starfire pulled her top over her head and smiled, her firm perky breasts were what Raven dreamed of. Starfire watched as Raven undid the seal on the back of her bodysuit and slowly worked her arms out, still covering her body. She shyly let the top down, her pale firm breasts where a fantasy of Starfire's, to see them soo much joy. Raven let the outfit pool at her feet, taking off her gloves then her boots. Starfire wiggled out of her skirt and boots, smiling at Raven as she lay on the bed. Both girls blushed a bit as they realized that they could see everything. Starfire had a tiny bit of red hair right above her pussy, Raven was glad to see that it was a normal one, not some weird alien situation. Starfire noticed that Raven had a similar patch of black hair above the smooth pale lips she found utterly fascinating. Raven crawled over her, not sure what to do next. Starfire smiled.
"Kiss me Raven...press your body to mine, share my space."
Raven nodded and gently laid on top of Starfire, her body suddenly tingling, her heart racing.
"Oh Star...it's better than my dreams..."
"And mine...oh raven, I can feel you...against me at last!!"
The pair embraced, trembling, their young bodies seemed to fit together as Raven kissed Starfire, a slow, shy, passion filled kiss. The pair lay together for a while, Raven propped herself up on her arms and looked down at Starfire who looked back up...after a moment, they began to laugh.
"Yeah...I though so...I have no clue what to do..."
"Neither do I, perhaps some education on this subject is needed?"
‘I think I can get us some documented girl love to study."
"That would be most helpful."
They giggled for a bit, snuggled together before Raven stiffened.
"The boys are back."
"I see...we will have to continue our ‘studies' later."
Raven smiled and dressed, Star putting her regular outfit back on, sneaking a kiss before joining the others in the hall.
"What have you two been up to?"
"Raven has been teaching me about Azarath."
"I see."
"I felt it would be good to talk about it with Starfire, since the whole brain swap thing."
"Don't remind me...I think I still have nightmares about those puppets." Beastboy mumbled as he walked by.
"If you all don't mind, I'm gonna set up a regular time to teach Starfire."
"Sounds good, always good to cross train."
Starfire nodded and slipped off to her room as Raven headed to the lounge. It would be most interesting to see what would happen next. Raven knew that of all of them, Starfire was the only one who understood her and in truth, was her first love.
Part 5: Their first time together
Raven had spent the last few days researching everything she could, but it was just soo much and soo little useful detail. She had found tons of films to view, articles to read but they didn't help her any, she began to wonder if she could do what she imagined with Starfire. Raven sighed and headed back to her room it was late anyways. She opened the door only to find Starfire sitting on her bed wrapped in a sheet!
"Um Starfire..."
"Hello Raven...I...I could not sleep, you have been in my thoughts all week."
"Um, you too..." Raven said, quickly closing and locking the door, she looked up to see the vents were already closed.
"Raven, I am wishing to do the making out now...I...I feel a strong need to be with you now!" Starfire said, blushing brightly as she let the sheet fall enough for Raven to see her firm breasts again, the nipples hard from both desire and the cool air in the room. Raven blushed as her own nipples hardened under her bodysuit, she let her cape fall to the floor then her gloves and boots as she moved closer to Starfire.

"We shall, how do you say, figure it out on the fly?"
"I guess that works." Raven chuckled as she unsealed her suit and slipped out of it, Starfire pulled the rest of the sheet off as Raven lay next to her, drawing her into a soft, slow loving kiss. Starfire let out a soft squeal of delight as she felt the tingling again!! Raven placed a hand on Starfire's stomach and slowly slid it up to cup and gently caress one firm breast, the other hand caressing Starfire's hair. Starfire let out a very happy sounding purr of delight as she shyly imitated her lover's touch, surprised as to how warm and soft Raven's breast felt...there was soo much to learn. Starfire complied, spreading her legs naturally as she did when she went to bed. Raven moved over her, her knees on either side of Starfire's head as she rested her head on Starfire's thigh, soo firm and smooth to the touch.

As the 4 Titans split, the borgs seemed fixated on Kashmire, who held her ground. She closed her eyes and as the borgs rushed her, opened them, unleashing twin energy blasts that blew most of them apart, and took limbs off the other, she lifted into the air and her grin faded...Starfire was blasting them but they kept coming, Cyborg and Beastboy were on the defensive as was Raven, using a shadow shield to protect herself from the onslaught...
"They aren't trained for this...damn..." she touched a small bead in her ear "Backup is needed...now!!"
"Confirmed, 30 seconds..." came the reply.
Raven was against the wall, the borgs pressing her shield to it's max, she couldn't hold them off much longer. She began to realize that as a team, they had gone soft, needed more training...if they got out of this. Just as her shield was about to fail, a fireball struck the center of the formation and blew the borgs apart. A figure in a brown long coat dropped down near her. He held a long, stylized blade in one hand, the other crackling with energy.
"Sorry I'm late, traffic was horrible..." he grinned as he gestured with his hand and unleashed a second fireball, annihilating several more borgs. He turned, bowed to Raven the leapt into the fray, his sword slashing through borgs, not hacking or cutting, but with a style and grace, each strike well placed, each parry leading to an opening to strike again. Raven found herself admiring his graceful style and form before she remembered she was in a battle and skimmed into battle, using her powers to slice through borgs left and right as she kept a eye on him, who was he, where was he from...she thought she was the only spell caster, real one anyway, in the city. Starfire was up her to eyebrows in trouble, surrounded by relentless borgs, she struggled to blast her way through...suddenly, the back row of the borgs surrounding her exploded, then the next and next, she could see the head and shoulders of a redheaded woman as she wielded a massive curved sword, cleaving her way through. She worked her way through, tucked Starfire under her free arm and leapt free. Starfire eeped but didn't struggled as she was placed next to Kashmire, the redhead smiled and turned to face the group of borgs, lifting her hand as if to stop them. Starfire watched the odd moment, energy gathered in front of the redhead's hand, forming as sphere that began to spin and loose bolts of light through the approaching mass of borgs, mowing them down to the last. Starfire's eyes lit up, was this tall woman an alien like Kashmire and her, or was she something else. Cyborg and Beastboy got an assist from the mage and Raven, clearing out the last of the borgs. The mage turned and brought his hands together, chanting then stretching them out, a massive bolt of lightening speared the hover transport, blowing it in half. He dusted his hands off and sheathed his sword.
"Well now...that was a good warm up, eh Avalon?"
The redhead turned and nodded, sheathing her blade and smiling at Starfire.
"You fight with honor little one, most impressive."
Starfire blushed and smiled a bit, Cyborg and Beastboy were dumbstruck.
"What's going on??"
"Oh, when I saw what we were up again, I called in backup, this is Avalon and Angelo."

A sleek looking aircraft winged in and hovered over the edge of the tower. Avalon waved, climbed up into the open hatch and closed it behind her, the craft turned and rocketed out of sight. Kashmire picked up her unbroken sunglasses and smiled.
"Who's for tea?"
There was a sort of stunned group nod save for Angelo who eager nodded and followed Kashmire into the tower.
"I though you said she was alone." Cyborg began once they were out of earshot.
"No, I did mention she had friends."
"Some friends those are...did you see them?" Beastboy started.
"Enough...they saved our butts and it's clear we need to step up training if this enemy she called Style attacks again."

She ripped another chunk of rock loose and hurled it at the light, only to realize at the last second it was a reflection in one of the pools of standing water!! Almost too late she raised her shield as Starfire rained star bolts down on her position, forcing Raven to teleport. When she appeared again, Starfire was right in front of her. She reached out and beeped Raven's nose.
"Tag..."
"Damn 3 out of three, I gotta stop holding back."
"You did not hold back, in fact, I was the one who had to struggle a bit in that last training match."
"Thanks, listen, I think three is enough for one day."
"Agreed, I could use a good shower right now."
Raven chuckled and thought about sharing that shower but knew better, it was during the day and the boys would most likely peek. She nodded and teleported herself and Starfire back to the tower. Upon arrival, the pair split up for quick showers then joined the others in the main room.
"What's everyone doing here?" Raven asked.
"There's been an odd intermittent contact on the scanners..." Cyborg began right before the alarms went off.
"What is it?" Robin demanded.
"It's a ship, headed for us, and fast."
"Titans, to the roof!!"
As the team assembled on the roof, they were shocked to see a sleek ship slowing down as it got closer.
"Um Starfire..."
"I do not recognize it...should I call Kashmire?"
"We don't have time..." Robin shouted, still not trusting her.
"Well, times up." Cyborg said, readying for combat.
The ship touched down and the air seemed to shimmer from the landing thrusters. The side hatch lowered and a familiar figure walked out into the light.
"It's Blackfire, Titans Go!" Robin shouted and charged the ship.
"Robin, I would not do that." Starfire tried to warn just a Robin bounced off the ship's still active defense field.
"Good call sister dear...and Robin, still impulsive I see..."
"What do you want?" Raven asked.
"Well, that's not why I'm here, cause I want a vacation, I want some fun, but I'm here for another reason."
"What reason sister?"
"I'm here to apologize."
There was a moment of dumbfounded silence followed by a clearing of throats.
"You're serious right?" BB asked.
"I'm always serious."
"Okay...but I don't by it."
"I knew you'd say that Robin....but I'm serious. Star, I'm sorry, for everything I've ever done to you, and to your friends."
"What brought this on?" Raven asked.
"It's a long story, I'd love to tell you if you could keep bird boy under control for a while."
"Deal."
The ship's field dropped and Blackfire joined them and headed down stairs, followed by two cloaked individuals.
"Who are they?" Starfire asked.
"All shall be explained...now then..."
Blackfire began by telling of how after her banishment, she wandered around the stars looking for a way to get revenge. She ended up spotting an old asteroid colony and figured it'd make a good hide out. Once she found a way in, she found herself trapped. The hatch disappeared, as did her abilities...it was like a field was suppressing her powers! She panicked and began to look for an exit until her self confidence kicked back in. She wandered around, armed only with her enhanced strength. She ran into monster after monster till she had to run. She was eventually saved by the shorter of the two cloaked individuals who helped her by teaching her what was safe to eat and how to survive. They traveled the colony for a few days till they met the second individual who helped them find their way to where the old colony port was. During the trip, Blackfire had a revelation, she always treated everyone as toys and now she was the helpless one, she needed someone for help. It shook her up and changed her outlook, partially, on life.
"I'm not saying I've given up being a bad girl, I'm just not an evil bad girl, just naughty bad." She said with a wink.
The individuals pulled back their hoods.
"Oh, and this is Dual, she's a great warrior for her age." Dual appeared to be a bit younger than the Titans but had short blond hair and icy blue eyes.
"And this is Tanya, she's a great pilot and a great listener." Tanya looked to be in her mid 20's, rather graceful looking with her long dark hair pulled back in a pony tail.
"Okay, and this is why your apologizing?" Cyborg asked.
"Yes...partially to make up for my past deeds. I've already gone everywhere I've been bad and made amends and now I'm here, for two reasons."
"Two reasons?" Robin raised an eyebrow.
"Yes. One is to make amends for my deeds here and the second, as part of my amends to everywhere else, I'm to be confined to this planet indefinitely!"
This caused an uproar, there were many shouts that overlapped but Starfire silenced them with a look.
"You are to stay here, as part of your punishment correct?"
"Yep, Earth is my new home, I'm not allowed to leave the planet except under extremely dire circumstances, you know, like the sun exploding or something. Then I have to report to Tamarin for a new assigned world."
"I see...well then, you are welcome to stay here."
"Starfire, wait, we can't trust her in the tower."
"Why not Robin?"
"Well...look at what she did!"
"That is past now...I doubt she would do it again."
"That's true, no more crime for me...just being naughty now."
"Listen, I have an idea." Raven said as she sighed "Not one I like, but how about for the time being, she stays at Angelo's? It's close and we can keep an eye on her."
"Who's Angelo?" Blackfire asked with curious intent.
"He's..."
"He is a dear friend of ours, as is Kashmire...I shall arrange a meeting with her for you."
"I see...curious and fun."
Raven managed to hid her blush, but Blackfire saw it.
"Listen, it's nice to offer, but I think I'd be interfering in something. So let's find an alternative."
"There isn't much...and Angelo does own a big place."
"Listen, I don't care where she stays." Robin said as he left the room.
"Geez, holds a grudge doesn't he?"
"He is...hard to forgive..."
"What about you sis? Do you forgive me?"
"I do...for I believe you have changed some, for the good."
Blackfire nodded and turned to Raven who sighed and lead them back to the ship to go to Angelo's. Starfire checked with Tamarin, what Blackfire said was true...but she still worried.
Part 9
Sisterhood
Blackfire began to train with Starfire and Raven shortly after she arrived and moved in with Angelo and his sister Avalon. Angelo reported to Raven that Blackfire was a decent house guest as where her two friends who helped out with chores and such. Raven and Starfire decided that it was best to have Blackfire train with them to keep her away from Robin. Blackfire enjoyed the slightly rougher training Raven and Starfire offered her, sharpening her skills and forcing her to work as a team with one or the other. She began to find teamwork wasn't soo bad after all. That and she learned about them. Blackfire began to put it together on her own, little things here and there and decided to confront her sister.
"Starfire, we need to talk." Blackfire said as she intercepted Starfire in the tower.
"About what sister?"
"About you, raven and what's been going on."
Starfire eeped and blushed.
"I do not know of what you speak???"
Blackfire smiled as she guided Starfire into the library.
"Don't try to lie to someone who knows how to do it right. I've seen all the signs and I couldn't be happier."
"You...you do not disapprove?"
"Why should I? I have to admit I've tried both sides of the fence so to speak and I'm glad you found someone."
"You will not tell the others?"
"Nope, that's for you two to take care of, as for me...I'm looking forward to getting some combat in soon, Training is starting to bore me."
Starfire smiled and was happy to see some of her old sister back, strong and confident. She gave Blackfire a hug that surprised her sister then took her by the hand.
"I am glad you are here and not fighting me any more."
"Well..." but Blackfire couldn't complete her sentence as an alarm went off.
"ALL TITANS ASSYMBLE!!"
Blackfire followed her sister to the main room where Robin was giving out orders.
"We're under attack, it appears that Style character has picked today to try to keep us from helping Kashmire. We've got aircraft and borgs attacking."
Starfire could see the look on his face, he was unhappy with Blackfire being present.
"Listen, I don't think..."
"Robin...she will be with me on air combat..."
"Starfire..."
"Let's go."
Starfire lead her sister upstairs as Robin, BB and Cyborg went down to deal with the borgs, Raven offering a mix of air and ground.
Starfire and Blackfire worked as a pair, blasting down transports and drone fighters before they could get near the tower, Blackfire was impressed by her sister's improved skills. The pair broke formation, darting through the drones and transports, star bolts and eyebeams searing through armor. But it wasn't enough...
"Shit, we're getting swamped here." Blackfire complained as more drones seemed to swarm in out of nowhere.
"I know sister...we need backup."
"Someone say backup??"
A pair of drone fighters split open as Kashmire flew past them, turning and raking fire along the side of a transport, bursting it open.
"And you are?" Blackfire raised an eyebrow.
"Kashmire, you must be Blackfire, heard a lot about you."
"Really." Blackfire said cautiously.
"Yep, we should hang out some time."
"Um...we have many enemies to deal with still."
Blackfire and Kashmire nodded and the trio broke off and took out whole swaths of drones in one sweep, working to keep the island clear as the ground element got backed up by Avalon, Angelo, and Dual who had arrived by skiff. They fanned out to cover the Titans on the ground. Avalon cut a path through the borgs with great swings of her sword as Angelo laid down cover fire with a mix of lightening blasts and fireballs. As they began to move toward the Tower, Dual covered their retreat and regroup as she wielded her twin blades and carved her own graceful but deadly path through the middle of what remained of the initial attack.
"We can't fall back!" Robin shouted.
"Who said anything about falling back?" Dual grinned as Angelo stepped up, making sure the field was only borgs.
"EARTH BENEATH ME, BEND TO MY WILL!!! STONE SPIKER!!!"
Angelo slammed his hand against the earth, the ground shuddered as huge spikes of earth shot up and impaled borgs, more smaller spikes sprouted from the main ones, polishing off the remainder of enemies. Angelo smiled and dusted his hands as the spikes collapsed to the ground, leaving thrashed borgs everywhere.
"Well, that takes care of that." Angelo said as he turned to his sister.
"A good fight, my blade needed a good workout."
"What are you doing here?" Robin demanded.
"Well, I live near by and it's hard to ignore aerial combat when you can see it out your window."
"Hey, I'm glad you two showed up." Cyborg smiled and shook Angelo's hand.
"Glad someone is glad for a bit of help."
"We could have taken them."
"After being pushed inside and having to fight inside your tower...not to tactical." Dual said softly. Robin began to open his mouth but Dual pulled on her cloak, pulling the hood up over her short blond hair and headed inside. Angelo shrugged and turned to where they had parked their skiff. Robin fumed a bit. Blackfire and Starfire returned as the others headed inside.
"It was glorious to see you in battle for good sister."
"It was a bit fun, though it'll take getting used to being on the good side for once."
Starfire smiled and lead her sister inside, Blackfire still unsure of her future.

Part 10
New Team??
Raven and Blackfire were finishing up a training session when Blackfire spotted something in the distance.
"Raven? What's that?"
Raven turned and spotted what seemed to be dust clouds, the kinds made from explosions.
"Hmm, someone in trouble?"
They skimmed the quarry edge to find a vantage point, Raven stops Blackfire as she lands. Down in the quarry is Robin with another group of young heroes?!
"What the hell?"
"Quiet Blackfire...let's watch."
They duck out of site and watch the training session. Raven takes note that Robin is working hard with this group. He was directing their training, working them in pairs, as a full team and individuals, they were working solely off his orders.
"I‘ll be damned, Raven, that‘s a new team."
"I know...this isn‘t right...what is he doing?"
"I don‘t know, but by the look of things, he‘s working them to become a tight unit, maybe he wants a more loyal team?"
"Whatever the reason, we have to confront him at the tower."
They slipped out of sight and flew low and fast back to the tower. They take stock of what they saw. That evening, when he returned, Raven gathered everyone in the main area.
"Robin, we need to talk."
"About what Raven?"
"We know about the other team."
"I don't know what you are talking about." He turned a bit from her.
"Blackfire and I saw it."
"Blackfire, you trust her?"
"Yes, since I was there too."
"Listen, I don't care what you think you saw, there is no other team."
"Robin, I believe you must tell the truth." Starfire said softly.
"There's nothing to tell or discuss."
Robin stormed out of the room, leaving the other Titans to discuss what had just happened.
"Raven, are you 100% sure?" Cyborg asked.
"I know what I saw, team drills, lots of them."
"He could be helping train a new team for the city, not a new team for himself."
"That's what it looked like to me." Blackfire said calmly as she poured herself a drink. BB was about to open his mouth when Raven silenced him with a look.
"I was there too BB and you know I don't lie."
"Point taken."
"Listen ya'll, we'll sort this out and see what we can find out."
Raven sighed and retired to her room, Blackfire headed back to Angelo's. Starfire knocked on Raven's door.
"May I enter?"
"Yes...always."
Once inside, Starfire locked the door and moved to sit with raven on her bed, her arms around her.
"Do not be upset...I believe you."
"I know you do, but they don't."
"The truth of the matter will arise."
"Stay here tonight Star..."
"of course."
Starfire kissed Raven softly before getting up and removing her top, skirt, boots and little panties...smaller than her old ones. Raven wiggled out of her bodysuit, gloves and boots, pulling Starfire to lay with her, resting her head on Starfire's chest. Starfire gently caressed Raven's hair as she lay with her, Raven's power gently manifested itself for the first time, dark tendrils of power gently caressed Starfire's sides and back, Raven was surprised by it as much as Starfire was, but did nothing to stop it. They lay together, Starfire cooing softly as if it was a dozen raven's caressing her tenderly, Raven's hands gently caressing and fondling Starfire's breasts. The room was filled with flickering light as the tendrils occasionally passed between one of Raven's candles and the bed, her powers attempting to adjust the lighting and make it more romantic. It was one of Raven's other sides manifesting, her more romantic side aiding her as she kissed Starfire softly, deeply. Despite her desire to make love to Starfire, Raven just held her, wanting her close, wanting her in her arms...wanting nothing but Starfire on her mind for the evening. Starfire didn't mind, the warmth of her love in her arms, the gentle caresses were more than enough for her. The pair snuggled for a while till they both yawned big, giggled and snuggled in, Raven's tendrils pulling the blankets over them and tucking them in before disappearing.
After a long and stressful week, most of which involved Robin flaking out on them now and again, the Titans decide that action must be taken. Raven had Cyborg set up a way to track Robin, working out where he‘s been lately. Using his communicator, they followed him, the trail leads to the far side of the city. There they found a small facility and Robin.
"What are you doing here??" he shouted as they entered.
"Trying to find out why you've bailed on us four times this week."
"You shouldn't be here!'
"Why?" Raven asked.
"It's none of your business..."
"Robin?" A new voice interrupted them. A team of young heroes approached.
"Sever, take everyone downstairs."
"Yes sir."
"Okay, answer time man, what's going on?" Cyborg asked.
"Fine...Look, I've been working on a second team to pick up the slack and cover areas of the city we don't work in."
"And you kept this secret, why?" Raven asked.
"Because, if you knew, you'd want to interfere or get involved."
"Interfere? You mean in their training." Cyborg asked.
"Yes, I wanted them to be their own team, not another Titans."
"So this new team..."
"The Nightguard..."
"Will be covering us."
"Of course, that‘s what I‘ve been doing, we just don‘t have the numbers any more to deal with the rise in crime. That‘s all."
Raven wasn't sure she believed him. She left with Starfire and Blackfire in tow...she got them home and sat there on Star's bed.
"Can you believe that shit?" Blackfire started.
"Sister, language..."
"Let her go Star, we're all a bit upset."
Starfire nodded as Blackfire paced the room.
" ‘I'm making a team to cover our slack...' Bullshit...from what Raven and I saw, he was making a team that was loyal to him and only him. He's got a ego bigger than mine!"
"And that's saying a lot." Raven grinned.
"Anyway...now what...he's basically looking to replace the Titans."
"Do you think Robin would try to replace all of us with new heroes?"
"I don't know Star...he started to distance himself...now this..."
"I say take some time away, relax and have some fun."
"Friend Kashmire did say we were invited to visit her soon."
"Perfect, you two head off there, I'll look around the city for some fun."
Raven nodded as they separated to their separate rooms. Raven stretched out, wishing she had asked Starfire to stay with her, but needing the night to think.
