Have you ever felt like a rat in a trap with vicious cats around you ready to tear apart your flesh with their sharp teeth in any passing moment? Well my situation right now, it’s like that. I was trapped into a cargo hold on a ship named Red Tiger, without a way out and a bunch of pirates around me ready to cut my throat by their captain’s order.
Oh yeah, to be honest the cats wasn’t the big real problem here. The real problem was the big tiger between them and me. It could crash your bones and eat you up in an instant if it wanted. The ‘tiger’ answers to the name of Captain Darius ‘the Tiger of the East Sea’. He was a tall muscled man dressed in dark red clothes with raven hair and eyes. His great stature gave you a mixed feeling of awe, strength and great fear. And by that, I mean he was a really strong bloodthirsty vicious ‘tiger’ showing no mercy to anyone. And when I say anyone I mean anyone! Not even to me who saved his life – by coincidence – a month ago and then he had the ‘kind heart’ to give me a ride to my next destination. But all that was past now, I was really pissed him off.
“You really passed the line this time Val!” he yelled at me with eyes full of rage pointing his gun to me.
Oh yeah! By the way my name is Valia… Valia L. Sharp, but everyone calls me Val. Anyway, I am in a big trouble right now! But I couldn’t blame him. He had any right to be furious with me. After all I fucked his only daughter in his cabin. You can tell, right? Ahh… that gorgeous girl with those juicy red li- I shook my head throwing away that thought. I can’t distract now! I must find a way out of this cargo hold.
Unfortunately my gun, my rapier and most of my belongings are still in the captain’s cabin, so I was unarmed. I still wore my brown pants and my white unbutton shirt covering my breasts from the sailors’ dirty eyes.
“Oh come on Dari… we can talk about this more calmly.” I said trying to buy some time searching the room with my eyes trying to find a way out. There wasn’t any except the stairs blocked by the pirates in front of me to prevent my escape. I had to fight them to escape, but to get into a fight with Darius that was out of the question.
“Shut up! You rape my daughter! You’ll pay for this!” he shouted.
“I didn’t rape her! I didn’t do anything she didn’t want to!” I shout back to him.
“Shut the hell up!” he tried to hit me with his hand holding his gun but I avoided him and then he grabbed my neck with his other hand pushing me back to the wooden wall of the cargo hold. He was quick for his big size so I couldn’t avoid that one. The wood behind me cracked by the force of the hit and I gasped for air from the sudden pain on my back and his strong grip squeezing my neck.
“You’re going to regret the day you were born” he threatened me with his face close to mine. His breath was hot and smelt like fish. I knew that he didn’t kill me until now because he wanted to torture me to the edge of death until I begin to beg for his mercy. He always does that because he likes to see his enemies suffer and crawl in front of his feet before he eventually decides to kill them. That makes him feel that he has the control and Power! He is addicted to it.
“Take her up on the deck. I’ am going to teach her a last lesson!” he said confirming my thoughts as he tossed me like a trash to the hands of his sailors.
They brought me up as he ordered tying my hands behind my back and forcing me on my knees. In front of me came Darius shirtless now, exposing his big muscled chest to the night’s cool breeze with a cold look on his face.
But I was glad that I was on the deck because I had more chances to escape here than bellow it. We were near to my destination; the port of Haru. I think I could try to make it there by swimming if I found a way to release my arms and jum-
SMACK!
Without any warning Darius hit me on my face. I fell on the deck on my left side hitting my head and I tasted blood in my mouth.
“How’s that bitch?” he said raising me from my hair.
“Coward” I said looking into his eyes with hate and split blood to his face.
He pissed and punched me again on my stomach. I clinched my teeth as I fell on the deck again. I didn’t cry out from the pain. I wouldn’t give him that satisfaction.
“Really Darius… fight me like a man… not with my hands tied up…” I said trying to catch my breath.
“Shut the hell up!” he shouted and kicked me, punched me and crashed me with all of his rage.
I remained silent.
“You think that you’re tough huh? Ok stand up!” he ordered.
I tried to stand up but then he kicked me on my ribs and I fell on the deck with my face again. My breath was cut. That bastard!
“You hit like a girl” I mumbled trying to stand up again
“What!?” he shouted and kicked my ribs. I couldn’t hold a groan from the pain. I was sure that he broke some of my ribs.
I turned to lie on my back looking up to the night sky. The stars are beautiful tonight. But I didn’t smile because of the stars.
“What’s so funny huh? You’re still mocking me?” he asked and raised me grabbing me from my neck.
His grip choked me but I ignored it and looked at him smiling, “Sorry… I really want to stay to play with you but I can’t.” I grinned.
“You still thing you can escape? I am going to erase that smile of yours once and for all…” he said and got read to crash my skull raising his giant fist.
BOOM!
A smoke bomb fell beside us and a thick black mist spread on the deck. Darius released my neck surprised by the attack. I fell on the deck and someone landed behind me. He cut the robes releasing my arms and dragged me away from the panic that mist cause. I couldn’t see anything and I heard Darius yelling orders to his crew behind us.
The person who saved me dragged me to the ship’s prow. The mist was starting to fade away and I saw Istinia the daughter of Darius. She was the person who saved me. She stopped when we reached the prow and turned to give me most of my belongings; my money, hat, boots, gun and my beloved companion – my grandfather’s rapier.
“Leave now before my father kills you!” she said with pleading blue eyes.
I wore my boots and belt with the gun and the rapier on it. I climbed the ship’s railing and turned to face her. I grabbed her arm bringing her closer to me and placed a grateful kiss on her red juicy lips.
“You saw me, didn’t you? Up on the mast?” she whispered when I broke the kiss.
“Thank you…” I nodded.
“No, I thank you. Now go!” she said and stepped back with her blonde hair waving in the night’s breeze.
“I off then kitty… I wish we meet again.” I said and she gave me one last smile. I jumped from the ship before the mist fades completely and be spotted by Darius. The cold water was a sock to my hot injured body, but neither that nor the pain from my ribs stopped me to swim as fast as I could away from the ship headed to the port’s lights of Haru. Some of the pirates shoot me but they stopped after a few moments. I think that Istinia have something to do with that – It truly would be fun if we meet again. Soon enough they lost my site in the dark silence of that summer night.
