Summary: There is no such thing as good and evil. It's all just evil.
A/N: Wrote this for a six words/drabble challenge. Basically, I came up with six words to finish the line 'I wish I could remember...' and then write a drabble using the completed line as my prompt. This ended up being my most favorite one, albeit it's the darkest one I wrote for the challenge.]
I\'ll Kill You My First Chance
I wish I could remember... What good is in this world
The sun\'s setting over a field, but the field is not empty. Men and monsters alike lay strewn about the rich green grass, staining it red with blood and black with death. Someone will come to remove the bodies, burn them or set them in the earth, whichever they feel more compassionate about.
Adelle tries not to see her former comrades out there.
Illua caresses her cheek gently but Adelle can only feel fire and poison in the touch. She\'ll avenge her friends, one day. For now she\'ll turn hateful eyes to grinning features and do as the woman commanded. Lips to lips, Adelle tries not to think of the faces of her loved ones, struck down by her own hand.
