Title: Prologue~

[Author's notes: Alright its an experiment to see if i should even bother uploading it <<.. if its a yes i'll upload then next few chapters =3]

Its not like the girl meant for this to happen, I mean come on she was smarter then this… right?

The girl sighed softly, "great idea Fenrir…. Let’s steal some food from that group of travelers they don’t look so strong!" she spat sarcastically. "Damn it… Damn it! DAMN IT!!!" struggling she tried to break free of the chains around her neck and wrists but to no luck… Fenrir was caught much to her humiliation. Falling back so she was sprawled out in the grass she sighed. A mix of Midnight and ice blue hair fell around her, a soft whimper escaped her lips as she closed her oddly colored eyes. And when I say oddly colored I mean it. Her right eye was a swirl of obsidian and purple and her left eye was a much lighter swirl of the two colors. Her skin now a light brown due to getting stuck out in the sun, all she wanted was to be unchained and be able to run around again, her other half longed to be able to run wild through the forests once again. In one last desperate attempt Fenrir jumped to her feet and used every ounce of strength she had to try and tear the chains from the rock so she could at least run away… but luck was not on her side as she just ended up slipping on the grass and falling on her rear. A roar of laughter tore across the campsite as the group of travelers watched her attempts to get free.

"It serves you right thief" on of them hollered between laughs.

On her feet once again the girl spun around, her face bright red, "STOP LAUGHING" she roared… and then slipped again. This was defiantly NOT her day. She grumbled softly trying to hold the tears welling up in her eyes. This was far more humiliating for her then they knew… though if they knew that they’d find it so much funnier most likely. All she wanted was something to eat, they laughed at her….so the girls temper and over confidence lead her here… it wasn’t fair.

Curled up on the other side of the rock she tried to muffle out their laughter as her stomach yelled at her. Slowly she drifted off to a nightmarish sleep.

The red head sighed at the men laughing at the poor girl. Saying she wanted to beat them into the 9th circle of hell for doing this to that poor girl… that was an understatement. A low grumble reached her ears, she tried not to laugh really she did! But she couldn’t help it she when turned to see the girl curled trying to hide her red face as she covered her ears… it was dare she say it… cute. Quickly she grabbed a bowl and scooped some of the stew the laughing idiots were eating into it and headed over to the poor kid.

Fenrir rolled over and whimpered lost in her nightmare. The other crouched down next to her and tilted her head slightly, she’d never seen a girl that looked like this. Midnight hair mixed with strands of ice blue framed her muddied face, there were odd markings on her wrists and ankles. Her clothes consisted of well… not much just a torn up pair of cargo shorts, a pair of worn out work boots and a black tank top with a howling silver wolf on it. She blushed lightly as she wiped off some of the mud from the girl’s face. She was actually quite pretty.

Fenrir shifted a bit when she felt something lightly stroking her cheek it was… nice. She refused to open her eyes though, afraid to find on of the drunken travelers looming over her. Oh but she wanted so badly to know what that smell was…. It smelled like beef stew and… burnt wood? Her eyes opened slowly to reveal a girl leaning over her with a bowl of stew.

Fenrir watched the girl. Her dark red hair pulled back save for a few strands that escaped, a pair of deep innocent green eyes locked with hers. This girl had a small spray of freckles across her nose.. they were barely noticeable. She wore a dark blue one sleeved shirt a necklace hung around her neck loosely it looked like it had a wolf fang on it. The necklace looked so familiar Fenrir could have sworn she’d seen it somewhere before. A pair of dark brown cargo pants clung tightly to her lower half, she couldn’t help but blush and look off to the side becoming very interested in the grass by her hand, the red haired girl was kind of cute..

"S-so… are you going to be like the rest of them and eat in front of me for kicks?" she asked the other softly. She heard a soft laugh from the girl and looked back at her glaring, "Wh-whats so damn funny?" her stomach growled loudly ruining the effect of the glare and causing a few laughs from behind the rock. Fenrir’s blush deepened, the redhead tapped her lightly on the head to get her attention back, "Actually this is for you…" she told her softly as she handed her the bowl. Fenrir sniffed it making sure there was nothing.. iffy in it, after a few minutes the bowl was empty no traces of the stew were left, she looked back up at the redhead, "um.. th-thank you" she mumbled softly lowering her head.

"I’m Akoiri" she gave Fenrir a soft smile and sat down next to her, "Who’re you?"

Innocent emerald eyes locked with confused blue-purple swirled ones. "U-Um…" Fenrir stopped for a minute when she heard the men on the other side of the rock, bragging about how they had caught her. Blinking back tears Fenrir turned back to the girl, "Fe-" her words where cut off by a mug hitting her in the shoulder. They laughed once again when they heard her pathetic yelp. Akoiri got up quickly and grabbed a clean rag holding it to Fenrir’s shoulder to stop the blood, "I’ll be right back" a few minutes later she was on the other side of the rock screaming at the idiots, they just blinked a few times. She gritted her teeth and slapped on of them making him hand over a set of keys. Before they could object Akoiri was back over kneeling in front of Fenrir unlocking her chains. Fenrir just watched her not exactly understanding why she was doing this, I mean come on she tried to steal their food... why would this girl go out of her way to help her? It made no sense to the blue haired girl. Flashing a small smile as the girls chains fell off Akoiri got up, "I suggest you run now before they come to their senses." She stated simply.

Fenrir blinked a few times then started walking but stopped after a minute, "My Name is Fenrir" she smiled then broke into a run.

Akoiri followed for a bit, "W-wait!" she called quickly and almost bumped into the other girl, "why are you following?"

The redhead pulled off her wolf fang necklace and placed it around the neck of a very confused Fenrir. Blinking she looked down at the necklace, "just so you don’t forget. Not everyone is bad y’know?" the other smiled again causing the blunette a slight blush, she quickly looked away, "I-I’ll remember that… Koi" she stuttered and ran off.

Looking back at the girl from the edge of the forest Fenrir couldn’t figure out why she stopped… I mean come on she was free so…… what was holding her back? Her eyes darted to the group of men sneaking up behind Akoiri, they were yelling at her clearing irritated with the fact she released her. Then… one of them struck her and that was it. When she realized what was happening Fenrir found herself in between the group of guys and the redhead snarling viciously at them.

Fenrir hooked a finger on her choker, ‘damn…… what.. do I do.. why do I even care? Ugh they’re so irritating …’ she thought as she watched them circled her and the other. There was a tug on her shirt she looked over to see Koi clinging to her hiding her face, Fenrir could feel the poor girl trembling.

"Its alright. I’ll Protect you Koi" she gave the girl a soft smile and turned back to the group. She didn’t know what she would do…. I mean her powers were sealed with multiple binding runes. Why you ask? For she was Fenrir the Cursed wolf… a prophecy predicted her power would destroy everything. Since her mother refused to let them hurt her they bound Fenrir’s power with 3 binding runes and a strong collar infused with a very powerful spell. One of the men brought down his ax hard smashing it into Fenrir who took the blow but refused to budge one bit … if she did it would give them a clear path to Akoiri. The group continued taking turns sending blow after blow at the poor girl. Still.. she refused to move until they teamed up and swung at the same time…which sent her flying back. She tried her best to turn so she hit the rock instead of Koi which half worked. The beast inside Fenrir wanted out, she motioned to the redhead to go hide and she did. A savage grin spread across the blue-purple eyed girls face she parted her lips a bit showing off her wolfish fangs, her wolf like eyes shimmered and started to glow. The group backed away as they realized what was going on, "A-A monster!!" one of them yelled as he turned to run away. Before them stood a large midnight blue wolf with streaks of ice blue in her fur, her blue-purple eyes glaring proudly at the attackers. One of them laughed at the monster raising his ax daring her to come forward and attack.

"Come beast" he laughed.

Fenrir snarled savagely, she was fuming. This idiot had the audacity to challenge her!? She lunged at him pinning him to the ground, fangs sank into the mans neck he screamed out for help and he go it in a flurry of silver they all started swinging at her nicking skin or cutting deep into her muscle. Fenrir finished off the man and lunged at the others taking three out at once. By then the rest had run away.

Unable to hold herself up anymore Fenrir collapsed, everything started to go dark… she figured Koi had probably run off at the sight of this beast form of hers. The wolf whimpered softly as she reverted back to her human form, the wind nipped at her naked body.

This is it…? This is her end? NO…. it can’t be it just can’t…. she felt her wrists and ankles start to burn her collar tightening slowly. She cried out hoping for something anything… if this was it.., she didn’t want to be by herself. The wolf girl caught a small glimpse of red hair and she felt herself being lifted then covered by something.

Then it all went black…

"Ugh … Seriously woman... do you know how to NOT get us in trouble?" the girl whispered angrily to her partner.

"Oh me get us in trouble? I was sure it was YOUR pride that got us in this mess…. Miss I’m not going to apologize for beating the crap out of the bartender."

"Really? I was sure it was your calling the guards idiotic bucket heads…" she muttered softly, "Ugh anyways lets drop the blaming for now and attempt to get out of here" she huffed.

The redhead next to her couldn’t help but giggle at her partner’s reaction, though she knew she was right she did call them a bunch of idiotic bucket heads...

"Alright Alright I’ll stop" she leaned over half spread across the others knees causing a tint of red to rush across the bridge of the other girls nose. The redhead was fiddling with the lock on the door while her partner was becoming very interested in the leaky ceiling.

Chapter 2

Title: Nice Going..

[Author's notes: a few years after the first chapter]

It was simple really… the conclusion she came to.

She just had bad luck that had to be it…

I mean things like this don’t happen over and over again like this right…?

The blue haired wolf grumbled angrily, there was a large iron collar fastened tightly around her neck, her wrists and ankles were bound in iron cuffs. On top of that was the position she was chained in, it was utterly uncomfortable. Her legs were stretched up the wall and her back was against the floor. Her red haired companion was chained up in a position where she was practically straddling her, though she wasn’t as tightly chained seeing as the guard had thought she wouldn’t be a threat, that just made it worse... the redhead liked to squirm.

All in all Fenrir was NOT happy.

She looked around the tiny room once again, and tiny it was the two of them barely fit in it…

"Ugh … Seriously woman... do you know how to NOT get us in trouble?" the girl whispered angrily to her partner.

"Oh me get us in trouble? I was sure it was YOUR pride that got us in this mess…. Miss I’m not going to apologize for beating the crap out of the bartender." The other retorted.

"Really? I was sure it was your calling the guards idiotic bucket heads…" she muttered softly, "Ugh anyway lets drop the blaming for now and attempt to get out of here" she huffed.

The redhead next to her couldn’t help but giggle at her partner’s reaction, though she knew she was right she did call them a bunch of idiotic bucket heads...

"Alright I’ll stop" the redhead leaned over half pressing herself against the wolf girl causing a tint of red to rush across the bridge of her nose. The she was fiddling with the lock on the trap door while her partner was becoming very interested in the leaky ceiling. The blue wolf heard a soft giggle and turned to see the other girl watching her, green eyes filled with amusement.

"Wh-what?!" she barely managed the stutter and could feel her face getting redder.

"AKOIRI! Stop looking at me like that" the blue haired girl whined softly coaxing out another giggle from her friend. The wolf’s normally light accent showing more. The other pouted the scooted up and sat on her friends stomach while attempting to pick the lock on her friends collar, "Sorry Fenrir.." she sighed and continued to fiddle with the lock. Though unbeknownst to the green eyed girl, Fenrir was gazing at her… well gazing at her eyes to be exact. They were hypnotizing to the wolf though she couldn’t for the life of her figure out why. She was snapped out of her trance by the redhead’s soft whispers, "are… you ready?"

The temperature in the room seemed to steadily rise as the vessel whispered,

"I invoke you spirit of Fire… I ask that your power be granted to this vessel…" a fiery glow surrounded her and she leaned down to press her lips to the odd charm imbedded in Fenrir’s choker. As she did so the wolf girls voice echoed softly as she spoke, "I am the embodiment of the Fire that grants life to the wolves of flame…" her accent slightly heavier at the end of her words.

As the last few words left Fenrir’s mouth the she pressed her lips to the charm. The bindings on the wolf’s wrists and ankles burned through her clothes, she threw her head back as a scream erupted from her deep in her throat. In seconds Koi found herself in the arms of her wolf companion, as they stood perched on top of the prison.

A Piercing set of eyes watched the guards as they backed away from the two girls. It was an odd site to see, her normally icy and midnight blue hair was a fiery red streaked with orange her blue and purple eyes were a piercing yellow and orange mix. Small silver fangs were clearly visible within her slightly devious smirk. A pair of icy midnight blue wolf ears twitched a long wolf tail with the same colors thrashed behind her. Koi just watched the girl a faint blush creeping across her face. ‘Who knew… Fenrir’s flame form... would look so… so….’ She was snapped out of her daydreams by a yell.

The redhead sighed and pulled herself up so she was leaning close to Fenrir’s ear, "Don’t hurt them… just run away with me" she blushed at her own words. Fiery eyes met forest green, the fiery wolf nodded and scooped up her partner and vanished from the view of the guards.

The reappeared in a clearing a bit away from the prison

Right fist to the ground, left arm resting on her left knee and her right knee buried into the dirt. Flaming eyes directed at the ground the, the fire wolf waited for her mistress’ next orders. The vessel just watched then dropped to her knees and kissed Fenrir’s choker once more, "release…"

Fiery eyes faded to colors of a calm night and her fiery hair faded back to its icy midnight color, an expression of concern was shown on the wolfs face as she hugged her red headed partner, "you’re… alright?" she whispered softly and the other nodded silently. The wolf girl let go and fell back into the grass, slowly drifting off to sleep only to be woken up again by her partner, "Fen.. we have to go back to the ruins before you can sleep" all the girl got was a very unhappy groan in response to her statement. Walking back to the ruins..? NOT something she wanted to do in this state but apparently it couldn’t be avoided… curse you stupid human needs…

So she picked up Koi and sped off towards the place they called home.

It didn’t take long to get there, Fenrir stopped a minute to look over the sanctuary.

It was the ruins of an old castle once inhabited by the Forgotten, but now…. It was just a crumbling half-intact structure. A wide river circled it half-flowing through part of the structure and over a small cliff side into the top of a large waterfall. There were small buildings and pillars embedded into the side of the large fall and a few columns in the lake it rushed down into, a large tree was partially emerged in the lake. The tree towered over the fall it’s branched brushed the sides of the castle. A well-made house was built into and around the tree. One of the roots was carved into a wide dock that stretched a bit into the lake almost reaching the other side, all around the place fireflies buzzed happily threw the silvery mist that covered the whole of the ruined sanctuary.

The two moons illuminated the sky softly as Fen made her way to the tree house her and Koi shared.

Gently she placed her red-haired partner in her bed then pulled a blanket over her before strolling outside to sit on the dock. A soft breeze tugged lightly at her hair as she sat on the side of the dock.

Sighing she traced the bindings on her ankles lightly, "Thviti…" the bindings on her wrists shimmered slightly, "… Gjoll and Gelgja…" she ran her hands over the silk choker she wore, it looked so thin and weak… and yet she could never remove it, "Gleipnir…" Fenrir pulled her knees to her chest and thought back.

It was the day of the twin eclipse, for her village it was a very sacred day. This was the day when those who have reached the proper age will gain their elemental power.

On this day it was said that the ‘prophesized-cursed’ child would be discovered. Though most of the villagers could careless, their pups were their pups. Some so-called prophecy about a cursed pup wasn’t going to make them give up a 7-year-old like they were nothing!

The village head leaned on the railing watching the soon to be elemental pups run around and play in all their pint sized wolf glory. Woman laughed as a small pup with icy midnight blue fur jumped on another’s back then rolled off and bumped a green puppy down a hill. It yipped playfully and crouched down as if challenging them to come and get it. She pushed her midnight hair back and sighed as she tied it back. Being the village head had its downsides… apparently the high king or whatever he thought he was, was going to attempt to make her hand over the supposed ‘cursed child’ over her dead body. This was HER village and these people were HER family… it took a few minutes to get her temper under control but she did.

A man with icy blue hair came up behind her, "looks like your daughters doing quite well for herself Kanlei" he laughed when the small blue wolf tripped over her own paws, "Then again… we can’t forget she’s just like her klutz of a mother"

"H-hey!" she pushed the icy haired man aside and jumped over the railing and scooped up her pup. The small wolf shifted to a human form. Her eyes were oddly colored blue and purple swirls, iced midnight blue hair flew in the wind until her mother tied it back for her and handed her a robe. "Mommy what element do you think I’ll get" she asked happily as if her mother knew the answer. She just laughed and told her that only the goddess’ know that answer.

Each Pup shut their eyes and stepped forward drawn to the altar of their element, except the icy midnight haired pup. She didn’t understand it her feet brought her to the circle in the center of the platforms the altars stood upon.

"Mommy?" the little voice called softly full of fear and confusion as armored men stepped towards her. Kanlei quickly pushed past them and scooped up the poor girl, "Its alright Aoi I’m here…." she whispered softly and shot the men a hateful glare, "You can’t have her, I refuse to allow it! You shall take none of these pups from us!" her voice rang out strong against the silence. They backed away and one spoke quickly his voice quite shaky, "The.. The cursed child is t-to be brought to Lord Xakuto.. I-if you refuse then we will… be.. be forced to take her!" he jumped when a wave a vicious snarls broke out in the crowd. "Pl-please… give us the girl!!" he yelled.. well more like whimpered.

"Takin’ one of our pups?! Yall must be mad!" a roar tore across the altars. The all turned to see a large Werewolf. His ebony fur glistening in the torchlight, a pair of stormy blue eyes glared at the armored guards, "Least of all will I allow you to take my granddaughter." The wolf snarled savagely. The guards wheeled around tripping over each other as they ran from the village.

"They nearly pissed themselves" a green haired man bellowed, a round of laughs broke out as they others watched them run.

The black wolf turned to Kanlei and Aoi, he leaned down and nudged the small girl with his muzzle, "We won’t give her up… but her powers need to be sealed else they will return…" he looked to his daughter.

"I and a few of our best will accompany her to the temples. She’ll be back in no time Kan" as he spoke Aoi made her way onto his broad shoulders and sat down, " where we goin’ grampa?" she asked softly as he started to move away from her mother. "We’re goin’ to the temples kiddo."

_____

"It seems I was right in thinking you would need a hug when I got here." a slim pair of arms wrapped themselves around her waist, as the voice spoke softly into her ear. It was a voice Fenrir could recognize anywhere.

"Shouldn’t you be sleepin’ koi?" the wolf mumbled into her knees. "I should be saying that to you Fenrir… you’re pushing yourself to much. You transformed and forced yourself to carry me back here"

Koi waited for Fenrir’s usual response but got nothing, leaning over the wolf girl’s shoulder she stifled a giggle. Her stubborn wolf had fallen asleep. Awkwardly she picked Fenrir up and strolled back to the house. The wolf shifted a few times in her arms, wrapping her arms around Koi and snuggling up to her. A red tint found its way onto the face of the green eyed vessel and after a few minutes of attempting to pry the sleeping wolf from her body, koi gave up and slipped under the covers with her.

"Silly little wolf" a sigh followed the whisper and she kissed Fenrir’s forehead before shifting to a more comfortable position. The wolf just muttered something and curled up against koi again. Soon both were asleep. Only to be awoken a few hours later… can’t people wait till dawn..? Heroes need rest to damn it!! Reluctantly Fenrir got up and crawls tot he front door, she opened it lazily.

A man with red hair looked down at the crouching lazy wolf girl, his eye twitched, "I heard the fighter Fenrir resides here. I wish to challenge your master." He stated arrogantly. Fen grit her teeth, "go away" the door slammed in his face and the wolf girl headed back to

Chapter 3

Title: Storm

She stared at them utterly lost. One Fen was under a door. Two there was a man in the house well.... a lot of men in the house. Three the hell were they staring at?!

An awkward cough broke the silence, " K-Koi... darling.. get dressed.." the poor wolf had a full body blush.

"eh... wha..?" the confused barely conscious girl mumbled. Then realization hit her like a brick, she was in a pair of cargo shorts and a long sleeved button up shirt that well... was unbuttoned giving the whole room a very lovely shot of her upper half, thank the gods for bras... quickly the redhead vanished into the closet.

A few thuds and a barely audible round of cusses later. The vessel emerged and made her way across the room. After shoving the man off of the door and kicking it aside, the girl hooked an arm around Fen and pulled the angry wolf up, "Stupid male... knocking on the door at 3 in the friggin mornin' ... hitting me with the front door..." ogling MY Koi.. though the last part wasn't voiced of course because well... that would raise questions which are something Fenrir loathed.

A cough shattered the wolf's thoughts, "If the servants would be so kind as to summon Master Fenrir so--" the idiotic comment was abruptly interrupted by a low savage snarling, "Leave"

"Summon your master here before I lose what little patience I have left" he fixed his gaze on Koi, "Or I could just.." his voice trailed off and his eyes gained a sinister glint as he stepped forward. Fen was having none of this.

The next few seconds went by in a blur. Koi was quite amused as she leaned on the doorframe.

The man was flat on his back with a VERY angry and snarling wolf perched on his chest, a dagger was buried in the floor between his legs and it was way to close for his comfort. Another dagger was pressed firmly against his throat,

"Best be keepin' yer hands off my partner there mister or I swear I'll castrate yer sorry ass with a rusty spoon.." the midnight wolf spat, her accent completely claiming her voice. In mere seconds the house was empty save for the two girls. Fen smiled triumphantly and laughed, "Did ya see that?! Boy nearly pissed himself" the wolf cheered, throwing her hands in the air and nearly fell over laughing. Koi grinned at her odd wolf before wrapping her arms around Fen and resting her head on the happy wolf's shoulder blade. The icy-midnight haired girl froze, "My hero" a soft giggle echoed in her ear. "Ya must be loosin' yer mind" her heavy accent becoming lighter as she spoke softly, "...if you're startin' to see me.... as a hero Koi" she smiled sadly, 'I can't be a hero... someone like me... can never be a real hero....' the wolf girl sighed, she could play at hero yes.. she had become very good at it in fact. People tended to seek her and Koi out. Though.. they always expected Fen to be a man not some pretty half breed. Koi had convinced them all that even though Fen maybe a girl she is just as good as the rumors say, so they agreed to hire them... The low rumbling of an incoming storm brought Fen out of her thoughts.

"Fen..?"

"Hm? Yes Koi?"

"Um... do you mind.. if I stay with you tonight?"

The wolf glanced over her shoulder at her partner, did she really just ask that? Naw... it had to be her imagination talking, "Wh-what?"

The redhead hid her face in her wolf's back, "C-can... Isleepwithyoutonight?" was the muffled request.

"Sure.. just go get changed.. I'll be in after I fix the front door" she twisted around and on pure impulse moved Koi's hair out of her face and kissed her forehead.

A silence filled the house and both girls could have made a tomato jealous.

"W-WELL! I better get that door fixed before the rain comes inside!" the wolf grabbed the door and practically flew down the hallway, 'dear gods WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?! I mean I'll admit she looked really cute and stuff ahhh... BAD BAD BAD!'

The green-eyed girl just stood there in shock, had that really happened? she shook her head, 'No way Fen's not that type...' a small but bitter smile found its way onto the girls face as she turned into Fen's room and stole a pair of her shorts.

Fen hammered the hinges back in place and tested the door, she rested her forehead against the cool wood and sighed, "What’s wrong with me..?" the wolf then pushed off the door and headed back to her room, stopping just outside the door. On the bed was Koi who had her arms wrapped tightly around Fen's pillow and her face buried in it. Fen blushed slightly when she noticed Koi wearing her favorite shorts and her shirt back to being unbuttoned. 'Why am I blushing? Its not like I've never seen Koi wearing my clothes before.. though my shorts have never looked so good on another person... wait... WAIT WHAT AM I SAYING?!?!' she shook her head to get rid of the odd thoughts and climbed into the bed.. one problem... she only had one pillow... so what was she going to use? After rolling her cloak up into a ball Fenrir snuggled up under the blanket and dozed off. Only to be woken up again... 'OH FOR THE LOVE OF WHAT NOW?!' another roar of thunder echoed through the house it was quickly followed by a soft whimper. The grumpy wolf rolled over to see her normally composed partner curled up under the blanket covering her ears with the pillow.

"Koi..?" the concern for her friend was quite obvious. The other girl just looked up with fear filled eyes and in seconds she was clinging to the normally cold and cut off wolf girl, who just sat there arms wrapped about her whispering in Koi's ear. The redhead pushed away, "I-I'm sorry...I should.. go ba-" the obsidian-purple eyes wolf pulled her back.

"Idiot... I know I'm not the best at comforting someone but... you should have told me. I... I mean we decided to become partners remember? .... How can I protect you if.. if you don't tell me these things?" by now the heartless wolf was red, where did all that come from? What did it matter now it was the truth.

Koi pushed away once again and dragged the pillow over, "s-sorry for stealing your pillow.."she looked away and laid down as the wolf did. Fen pulled her over and wrapped her arms around her. Koi just blushed slight wrapped an arm around fen then rested her forehead to the wolfs collarbone. both drifted off to sleep once again... and once again were woken up by a loud knocking.

Fen growled and hide her face in her pillow... wait since when did her pillow smell this good? Oh well, some how they had managed to shift so that Koi was sprawled across the bed and Fen was hugging her around the waist and using her stomach as a pillow. The redhead seemed to be quite content and very much awake since she was stroking one of Fen's ears.

"Y'know as much as I love being used as a pillow Fenrir... I would like to get up and get the door." the wolf let go grumbling something about her stubborn talking pillow making her move and proceeded to crawl under her blanket and go back to sleep. "Lazy wolf" the other sighed and started buttoning her top while heading towards the front door.

A woman opened it and stepped inside, "Honestly... Koi I've been out there for like a half hour." The woman’s hair was black at the roots then faded to silver gold at the tips and it was tied back in a messy bun. A pair of deep crimson eyes searched the room, as she took off her jacket and put it on a chair. a Dark red tank-top was underneath and across the chest it said, 'up here jackass' and had an arrow pointing up. She had a pair of black semi baggy cargo pants, a set of brown scuffed work boots, and a black blue bandanna on her head. , "I take it wolf girls still sleeping then?" the redhead just nodded, "Kyir why are you here you know fen's grumpy in the morning." The other just shrugged, "I was bored and well I've got a job for you"

Koi looked up at Kyir and grinned, "I'll go get Fen" she wheeled around and was met with an already dressed and ready fenrir.

"So what do we have to do?"

"Its just a simple delivery Kid"

The wolf grinned, she liked 'simple' things.

"WHOOO~!!" a scream echoed through the clouds as the wolf-girl dropped off the hover board, Koi just shook her head, "Be careful Fenrir!" her yell almost lost in the roar of the Airships engine.

Fen just waved the warning off and grabbed the board. Flipping and twisting in the air the girl made her way to the floating platform, once she landed Fen glanced up to see Koi dropping towards her.

"OH CHRI--" Koi landed on her cutting her off. The redhead opened her eyes and was met with a pair of swirled blue and purple. Both attempted to speak but their words where lost to them, so they just stayed like that. Until a sarcastic voice broke them out of their daze...

"I'd rather you both didn't start going at it on my lawn" an awkward cough followed the statement.

They blushed and looked up to see a woman with deep hazel eyes, a pair of glasses and her long wavy brown hair tied back in a ponytail and a blue-black bandanna on her head. She wore a worn black leather jacket a tank top underneath it and a fishnet shirt over that. a Pair of Black jeans worn at the knees and shredded at the heels, and a pair of black boots. Her skin was tanned slightly; all in all she was quite pretty.

"And you two are?"

They managed to untangle them selves and get, just as they were about to introduce themselves Kyir hooked her arms around their necks and leaned forward, "They're my Delivery girls Faye baby" the brunnete just groaned rolled her eyes and turned around.

Kyir giggled and jumped the retreating girl, "Awe love don't be like that.... " she attempted to kiss the hazel eyed girls cheek but was stopped by a book, "awe come on fa-" was all she got out before she was promptly shut up with the book. Faye loved her friend to death but sometimes... ugh.

Faye turned back to the other two, "I am Faye Guardian of the Spire of Knowledge. You two will most likely be staying here for the night.. though we only have one room so don't be to loud" Kyir snickered and headed towards the large silver spire. The hired swords followed quickly with Faye tailing them. Kyir led them to their room then went off in search of the reluctant brunette because somewhere along the way the guardian ditched them. She soon found her sitting in a window reading. Before the hazel eyed woman could protest, Kyir was on her knees hugging her around the waist and resting her head on Faye's lap, the Spire guardian just looked down at her with sad bitter smile formed on her lips. Kyir still looked so much like Ryia... Faye ran her fingers through the others hair as she read, "Are you comfy?"

"Very" the red eyed one muttered.

"Glad I make a good pillow then" the hazel girl just laughed and continued to read.

Koi woke up to find her wolf partner with her legs on the bed and her other half on the floor, "Fen?" she called softly. Fen's foot merely twitched in response, causing the redhead to worry a bit. So she leaned over the bed and looked down to see her partner half twisted, so her shoulder was against the cold wood floor, snuggling a pillow. She shook Fen's foot and was almost kicked in the face when the girl rolled over, "F-Fen! wake up we have another job!" she squeaked out. The wolf stirred and fell the rest of the way off the bed with a loud THUD and a groan.

The girl pointed into the air, "Fine.. but your buying me breakfast" she mumbled as her arm went limp and she fell backwards once again snoozing. Koi just sighed and went into the bathroom to take a shower.

By the time she got out Fen was already dressed and waiting, "I'll meet you at the spire entrance."
