Chapter 1

[Author's notes: I don't have a betta so I hope the grammar is ok, thanks for reading and enjoy, :D]

Pale soft skin painted pink with the sweet slight blush on your face

And your eyes shine the prettiest dark blue even in this dim place

I can’t look because I’ve got the advantage tonight with little to no control

To how your clothes fall crooked over your slender frame exposing your shoulder

Like the feel of cold rain running down my spine, hope you didn’t see me shudder,

But as always you believe that everything is fine, and you feel safe and you are, this trust I wouldn’t want it any other way but I wish you wouldn’t lean on me when I’m so tired my mind is clouded. Afraid I’ll say something stupid, and you’ll just laugh it all away.

And I can’t back away any farther sitting stretched out in the corner I can feel you breathing on my side, steady and slow. Your eyes they flutter closed. I can feel your warmth through my cloths skin so cold afraid to touch even when you ask why I don’t hug you. The beating of your heart seeps in to my bones. Long blonde hair that smells like roses draped over your shoulders veiling an angelic sleeping face. Muscles tensed, until they’re sore, start to shake, and when did I stop breathing. Chest so hollow I’m suffocating under the light press of your weight. I rest my head back on the wall that I guess will be my pillow, I don’t need much sleep anyway, I’ll just wait for dawn in the silence because I’m not planning to stay any longer then tonight, I’m sad to say never was one for good byes, I only hope that you don’t mind. With that quiet resolve I can relax a little, you mumble something and shift closer so that the dim desk light catches the glint of your earrings different from since when I last saw you. When did you get that second piercing? wonder what else you haven’t told me. And the sun will rise just like when we were younger, streaming through the curtains illuminating you like an angel leaning on a once friend now stranger.
