Ari didn’t stay much longer at the psychic known as Aubins house. After the curious way Aubin reacted she felt she needed more answers…quickly.

She thinks back on Aubins reaction…

---Earlier---

"What the helll...was in that tea!?" Ari semi shouts out.

Aubin looks only slightly shocked as she clears her throat and brushes the hair away from her face "Nothing was in the tea...all that you saw was already in your mind, locked away"

Ari rubs as her temples with her eyes closed "I'm even more confused than before...are you saying what I just saw...experienced, was my past life?"

Aubin takes another sip of her tea and gives a nod "yes...what you saw were memories of your past life, locked away deep in your psyche...I just opend it up for you."

Ari looks at the tea warily and Aubin chuckles slightly "its ok I promise, look" Aubin reaches out and takes a sip of Ari's tea and smiles. "see"

Ari sighs a little and gulps the rest of her tea "I have so many questions now, even more than before."

Aubin "I know you do...perhaps consulting 'her' would prove more fruitful now."

Ari sighs in frustration "she can't answer any of my questions, that's why she sent me here!"

Aubin touches Aris hand to calm her "I believe she will be able to answer your questions now..."

Ari looks up at Aubin with hope filled eyes, not wanting to believe but not being able to stop herself "Do you really believe that?"

Aubin "I do, go to sleep tonight, she will come to you...and your questions will be answered."

With that, any hope of not getting worked up dissapeared, although in the back of her mind she was prepareing to be utterly dissapointed.

Ari stands and rifles through her pocket quickly to pull out some cash. "Thank you Aubin...how much do i-"

Ari is cut off by Aubin pushing her hand back "No charge, I'm just happt I could help a soul on their way" and she gives a small smile, but never the less showing a hint of sadness in her eyes.

Ari looks a little confused, but mentally shrugs it off, her mind already swimming with thoughts of what had just happend and what questions she wants to ask and hopefully get answered tonight. She pockets her money and gives a slight nod "Oh...well thank you again"

Aubin stands and leads Ari to the door. "Oh Ari...don't worry so much if your questions will be answered, think about how your going to handle the answers"

Ari stares quizzicly at Aubin before turning around and exiting the house. She watches as Aubin closes the door and slowly makes her way to the gate. She pauses for a moment and looks back, noticeing the curtains fluttering as if someone had been standing there a moment before.

She stares for a brief moment, then decides to leave.

—Present---

As her feet carry her down the side walk, opting to walk back, rather than ride the bus…hoping that it will help clear her mind a little.

She passes house upon house, with kids either shovleing snow or playing in it.

But she notices none of this as she chews on her thumb nail lost in her thoughts.

Wondering and want fill her mind, and her body, to the point that an overwhelming feeling of anxiousness drowns her…untill she is ripped out of her thoughts by feeling her body hit something infront of her.

She begins to apologize before even looking up “Oh, I’m sorry i—“ she stops her sentence short as she recognizes whom she ran into.

“Kae?”

Kae blinks, slightly surprised as well “Ari? What are you doing way out here?”

Ari “Oh, just taken care of some buisness…”

Kae raises an eyebrow” Well Anna’s wondering where you went…so maybe you should call her or somethin”

Ari “oh, yes ofcourse…what are you doin out here anyway?”

Kae seems to stiffen a little at this question “Just..grabbin a few things from home, um Ari?”

Ari tilts her head a little “Yes?”

Kae seems to fidget a little “Theres somethin I wanted to talk to you about-“

Ari gives a smile “It’s ok, don’t worry. I’ll see you later allright?”

Kae looks slightly confused “Uh..ok”

With that Ari continues on her way, leaving a puzzled Kae to watch her retreating form.

With the run in with Kae pretty much completely out of her head already, her thoughts return to what questions she should ask

“for starters. Who is she…why is she in my dreams…what did those images mean…why did she tell me to see a psychic…why now..and above all, what in the hell does this all mean??” she speaks softly to herself.

She then looks up to find herself sitting on a bench, apparently she made her way to it in her thought confused mind.

“So…My next move should be too contact her, but I’m not tired…” Ari sighs to herself

After a short pause she gets an idea “Uhrg…I can’t stand waiting any longer”

She holds her head between her knees trying to surpress all the thoughts in her head, when this doesn’t work she growls in frustration and stands suddenly…and begins to run.
