Silence- As the blackness begins to fade, the rustling of leaves and the feeling of a chilled breeze makes a pair of eyes flutter open. The pair of dark greenish grey eyes observe their surroundings... The sky is clouded over and grey, the trees bare of all their leaves, which litter the ground below already dry and crumpled. After a moment the owner of those eyes begins to rouse to their feet, they look around and look towards a small pool of water. The eyes catch the owners reflection- long black hair reaching mid back, skin so white and pure and deep crimson lips… and of course those eyes, all clothed in a white-thin strapped dress that reaches mid thigh.
The girl peers down at her reflection for a moment; as the leaves rustle across the ground the girl looks up at her surroundings again. She notices a path cut through the trees that she hadn’t noticed before. Unsure of what she was doing or even where she was, her feet began moving in the direction of the path.
As she wanders down the long path she gets a strange feeling. She looks to her left to see someone standing along the paths edge- it’s a tall woman with short wavy dark hair and deep blue eyes, her skin was very similar to the girls but is clad in darker clothing- she wore a long dark coat and boots that strapped up below her knees. As the girl stares she cant help but get a strange feeling in her chest. She sensed much sorrow from this woman as she approached. The girl just stood there watching as the woman drew closer.
The woman raises her hand and touches the girls cheek, her hand is arm and gentle. Before the girl can speak she hears a voice coming from somewhere, louder and louder until she blinks—when she opens her eyes again she sees a very different environment…and someone standing over her.
“Ariii…Ariadnee! C’mon sleepy head!” the girl standing over her calls out.
Ari stares at her for a moment, noticeih her brown hair back in her usual ponytail with her bangs in her face, and her deep brown eyes as well as tanned skin.
Ari blinks again to adjust to the bright light around her “Anna..?”
The girl standing over her smiles “Yes lazy bones, who else were you expecting?”
Ari looks around her to see why it’s so bright “Snow…” she says to herself as she sees everything covered in a thick layer of snow.
The girl called Anna quirks her eyebrow “Yeah…It’s an icebox out here, you really should be careful falling asleep out here when it’s so cold you know, anyway get up I’m ready to get the hell outta here.”
Ari then remembered she had gotten out of her class before Anna as usual and had felt so drowsy she decided to take a short nap under the tree, apparently she slept longer than intended . She gets to her feet and dusts the snow off of her “it’s not that cold to me…anyway lets get going”
