Gripping about blindly, Nao struggled to see in the dark room. The blanket rustled as she moved about, her mind unsure of where she was. Sleep still clung to her mind as gentle hands suddenly grasped her seeking hand. Yelping in surprise and confusion, she tried to pull away but the hands held tight. In her panic, she fell out of the bed she'd been sleeping in.
"Are you okay, Nao?" A voice asked from somewhere above her. The hands let go and a light came on, hurting Nao's eyes. Squinting, she could just make out the concern face of a blue haired maven, peering down at her over the edge of the bed.
"Natsuki?" She asked, remembering where she was.
"Are you okay? You were tossing and turning in your sleep."
"I was dreaming..." She paused trying to remember. "I dreamt that I was lost and I couldn't find you."
Reaching down, Natsuki gently touched her face. "I'll always be within reach."
Leaning into the warm hand, the redhead felt a wave of calm come over her. Natsuki helped her back into bed, clicked off the light and snuggled against a sleepy Nao.
"Don't let me get lost..."
"Never."
