Chapter 1

Title: Enter the Blonde

[Author's notes: Seras Victoria, now a freelance vampire huntress and skilled markswoman, discovers the disappearence of local girls from their boarding school; curious, she decides to investigate this interesting case.]

"So you're not sure where she went?" Seras asked, the headmistress of the St. Alicia's All Girls' Boarding School, an older brown-haired and stubborn-looking lady, sat in front of her.

"No, and neither does her classmates; even her girlfriend has no clue, and the rest of them worry more about their studies than their classmates' disappearence" the headmistress said, Seras detecting that she sounded bitter.

"They're all cold about a classmate being in potentional danger?" Seras asked again, writing down a few notes on a piece of paper.

"No, but I think the upcoming exam might stir their nerves a bit..." the headmistress said, sighing; "...maybe we should call it off for a few months, at least until we discover what the hell is going on!"

"I see, so this is the...uhm-m-m-m..." Seras was about to ask again, but, having lost count of how many girls had dissapeared, she simply got a dumbstruck look on her face.

"It's the sixth time in this month, Ms. Victoria...!" the headmistress almost snarled; "...I can't run a school where my students keep disappearing! The Student Council will be after my throat before long!"

"OK, OK! I got it now; sixth...time...this...month..." Seras said, striking an unsure smile and embarrased look, writing down yet another note.

"Now, can I trust you will solve this case? I can't keep this situation under control much longer" the headmistress asked, her sceptical undetone irritating Seras enormously.

"I'll look into it at once, ma'am..." Seras said with the most sleak undertone she could manage without hinting her dislike of the headmistress away; rising up from the chair and heading for the door, she made a quick wave of her hand in a relaxed gesture.

"I'll be expecting my students found soon enough!" the headmistress called as Seras closed the door behind her.

"What a fucking bitch! I'm an investigator, not an errand girl!" Seras groaned to herself, passing by students as she they were heading for class.

"Still..." Seras smiled as she watched two girls standing by their lockers, giggling at each other; "...I wouldn't mind staying around here; alotta cuties to corrupt..."
