chapter 3 The Sarge and the Rattlesnake
here we are
Los Angeles CA the city of angels
i ride through the city and make my way through the arena the staples center where once i'm insideeveryone comes and gather's around me
dez:WHOA WHOA WHOA! give a fella his space eh?
aisha came over and explained.
aisha:sorry about that snakeman it's just that everybody's all jumpy cuz they heard you was facin sargent clemets in a non title match
dez:yeah so?
aisha:fool you realize how big this is fo a rookie like you? you win this match you put yo'self right in line for a title shot boy so you best act like this is important cuz it is!
dez:tell me this then aisha.
aisha aight i'm listening go!
dez:what kind of an opponent am i facing in the sarge?
just then Reiko interrupted.
reiko:i can tell you sargent clemets is a very tough opponent indeed so much so that if you make a mistake against her you'll be sorry cuz she will make you pay after all she's not the Rose of Roses for nothing isnt that right aisha? reiko teased.
aisha looked at her with a foul look on her face.
aisha:what why you! she got up and chased after reiko who was laughing as she ran.
dez:well apparently that's not gonna tell me much about her looks as if i'm gonna have to find out for myself what kinda person i'm dealibg with in the sarge who according to reiko is gonna be a tough customer making this no easy task in fact this weas sure to be the toughest match i've been in yet.
as i'm busy prepping for my match a figure steps in standing over me i recognize right away who it is
Dez:Sgt Clemets i presume? my opponent for tonight?
sarge:exactly right! now listen here just cuz you're a rookie dont mean i'm gonna take it easy on you boy! when you and i meet in that ring i'm gonna kick your butt good and show you why i'm the queen round here and why i hold the one belt everybody wants but cant get unless they go through me!
dez:so am i to understand that once i open up a can of whup ass on you, drop you with a snakebite, and cover you for the 1.2.3 i'll be in line for the title?
sarge: yes that's..hey wait a minute! dez laughs who said anything about you beating me? and dont you laugh at me unless you wanna be hauled in!
dez:stands up and gets in sgt clemets face who said anything about beating you? i just did! and as for you laughing at you i've only got two words to say.
sarge:oh yeah and what are those two words?
dez:HA! HA! Dez leaves and prepares to go out there leaving behind a very very angry sgt clemets.
hell will be callin your name hits as the bell rings and dez comes out on his motorcycle big red as pyro goes off on both sides of the ramp and dez rides down and around the ring.
announcer:the following contest is a non title match scheduled for one fall in the ring from Washington D.c standing 5 feet 8 inches tall weighing in at 179lbs Rattlesnake Rose.
the crowd is on their feet in cheers for him as he showboats to the crowd a little.
then prison of love plays as Sgt Clemets motorcade comes out they then make their way to the ring as Sgt Clemets dances for the crowd
and his opponent tonight from San Antonio Texas weighing in also at 179 lbs standing 5 feet 6 inches tall ladies and gentlemen i present the Rumble Rose Champion the Marshal SGT CLEMETS!
the ref rings the bell as we both lock up i'm quick to get the advantge going to an armbar lightning fast she manages to get to the ropes forcing me to break she then tries and connects with a clothesline.
i then get up a bit shaken as i receive a kick to the gut and a DDT for my trouble i decide to lay there and play possum it works as sgt clemets gets too close i spring a droptoe hold on her and have her in a leg submission she struggles but gets to the rope once more forcing me to relinquish my hold.
the two of us get into a lockup with sergeant clemets getting the advantage whipping me into the ropes she attempts a clothesline but i low bridge her and from behind lift her up and connect with a stalling brainbuster suplex i then show great balance on the top rope and as she gets up i connect with double axe handle rattling the sarge as she gets up.
she does and then she picks me up and suplexes me going into a submission of her own suddenly i'm in trouble as i struggle to get the ropes she pulls me away as i get close but i try agai and make it but for my efforts she hits me with an elbow drop proceeding to hit a second on me i get up and am taken for a ride whipped into the corner where she hits a bronco buster now getting groggy as i get out finally she goes for her killer move the western clothesline on me connecting and covering 1..2..but no i kick out.
the two of us lock up she gets the advantage but only for a short few seconds as shgoes for my neck with one arm i use one leg wrap it around hers and trip her as i get behind her and using the ropes i nail a big time drop on her landing her on her face as she gets up by this point she is mad at me as we charge each other and i get the better of the exchange with a thesz press and knuckle she throws me off but i grab her leg to keep her from escaping effectively tripping her up and i end up going into a leg submission.
she is in major pain as i work the same leg from earlier in this one she somehow gets to the ropes thus causing me to release my hold at this point sgt clemets finds herself unable to stand without the help of the ropes because i worked her leg with my submission so well she tries to take a swing at me but misses as i duck underneath grab her and connect on a german suplex not once but twice before letting go of her waist.
painfully sgt clemets stands but is clearly in pain in her leg she the two of us lock up but i shove her away connecting with a stomach kick and dropping the snakebite on the sarge 1..2..3!! the ref rings the bell i had done i beat the rose of roses and now i'm in line for a title shot.
announcer:here is your winner Rattlesnake Rose says the announcer as my music plays
unbelievable i'm 3-0
but just as i'm about to step out of the ring a face appears on the titantron it's Mr Regal.
regal:hold it right there sunshine! i've got a big announcement that involves you and the next pay per view tournament of roses.
i decide to stick around and hear what he's gotta say.
now as you know the tournament of roses is Rumble Roses answer to the king of the ring tournament and the announcement is that you sir will be in that tournament as one of the 8 people participating the winner getting a shot at the rose of roses title.
the crowd cheers at this news.
regal asks the crowd to quiet down and you wont be alone here are the 7 people that will also be in this tournament
reiko hinomoto, noble rose, aisha, anesthesia, candy cane, mistress, and benikage.

regal then dissppears as i head to my lockerroom where reiko and candy cane are waiting on me.
candy cane:so you're in this too huh?
dez:if you mean the tournament then yeah ...i don't mind telling you this is a big step for a rookie like me.
reiko:true but i'm sure you can handle it we're both in the tournament too so you may find yourself against either one of us and to quote sgt clemets just because you're a rookie dowesn't mean i'm going to go easy on you!
candy:that goes double for me too kid! you got lucky in your first match when you beat me but if we meet in that tournament i can promise it wont happen again!
dez:i think i get it you two he said as he gathered his things and left but as i do aisha comes up to me
aisha:hey snakeboy
dez: yeah whaddya want?
to have you join us for a night on the town me, dixie, mistress, reiko, candy, and noble rose.
dez:alright i'm on my way.
aisha:good!
i continue to pack and soon leave my lockerroom and outside reiko is in control of the van as i get in and we take off to hit the streets of L.A
