Before Rinako Ikatsuji started the Cross Blade Lancers, the Cross Blade Slashers dominated the Spring Breeze Assassins with an Iron fist with Rumiko Susanoou as their leader. That all changed when a girl named Ayane came along. Now 2 1/2 years later Rumiko can only think about revenge on Ayane for the loss of her leg. Two things stand in her way, the demonic spirit of Yamato No Orochi who inhabites her body and Karen, a Scion who needs Rumiko's help to stop a plot in releasing a descructive force that could even destroy Aerolust.
