In the year 2037, the Japanese democratic system is controlled by four financially powerful nobles called the 'Four Koga', each in respective dominance over the four major islands of Japan. These politically-influenced Ayatollahs hold a violent stranglehold over both government and treasury, and have nothing to lose from doing so. Enter Hazumaru Yui. A young kunoichi from Morioka with somewhat of a split personality, on a mission destroy one Koga in particular, Mizuryu Hirotsugu, the 'Honshu Koga'. But can she succeed? What is her connection to this scenario? What secrets exist behind this mission? And more importantly, how will they effect Japan as a nation?
