Now after spending a year in a mental hospital Kris is trying to rebuild her life and maybe make a few friends, however she is in for more then she was ever expecting and life has some interesting things in store for her.

An old Victorian town as they spiral head long into a world of fear, maddness and strange love. Meanwhile a girl disguised as a paperboy and a girl of noble blood have fallen in love. If they only knew what life has planned for them in this rather macabre tale filled with dark humour.

After a strange car accident Kai wakes up to find herself in a world not quite her own. Just as she is getting used to her new home she stumbles across something new and discovers that she is cursed. One day death will come for her or one of her new friends. What is a girl to do?

This is the old Version of Book 2. For the most part it is the same as the new version with a few more typos and the last few chapters being changed. If you are reading this story then I suggest you go read the newer version or stop at Chapter 40 and go read the rest in the new version Chapter 64-Epilogue. I split up the chapters so there seems to be more but it is the same point in the story.

Maybe by telling you the tale of how I got where I now lay you will understand my ponderings and watch out for the warning signs that are all around us.

After a horrible airship crash little Jennifer is left with no parent and little memories of her past. Unwanted she is sent to an Orphanage in the middle of the forest where she embarks on a strange journey of fear and love.

Book 3 is finally here so let the madness begin. The shadows are on the move and they want the girls of Whispering Hills. Sophia and Jessica are away, leaving the rest of the girls in chaos. What will happen in this third installment to the Shadowlanders? Who can tell.

This book has been completely rewritten as of July 8th 2008 so if you have already read the beginning of this story you may need to reread this before continuing with the new chapters. Also the end of Book 2 has had a rewrite. So you should start reading Chapter 64-Epilogue of Book 2 before rereading this book. Sorry for all of this but you will find it was something that was needed to be done.

This is a newly updated edition of ASD Book 2. For the most part it is the same as the old edition however the chapters are broken up more and the last set of chapters (cha 64-epilogue) have been completely changed to flow smoother with book 3. So if you have read this story before July 8th 2008 then you should reread the last chapters. I'm sorry to make these changes, but it was something that needed to be done. Also check book 1 for changes to chapter 1 and 48.
