While trying to help a new classmate Jenn comes to realize that reality is not what it seems and suddenly has to face her past, a past that she had completely forgotten... until now. Maybe by telling you the tale of how I got where I now lay you will understand my ponderings and watch out for the warning signs that are all around us.

Book 3 is finally here so let the madness begin. The shadows are on the move and they want the girls of Whispering Hills. Sophia and Jessica are away, leaving the rest of the girls in chaos. What will happen in this third installment to the Shadowlanders? Who can tell.

This book has been completely rewritten as of July 8th 2008 so if you have already read the beginning of this story you may need to reread this before continuing with the new chapters. Also the end of Book 2 has had a rewrite. So you should start reading Chapter 64-Epilogue of Book 2 before rereading this book. Sorry for all of this but you will find it was something that was needed to be done.  

This is a newly updated edition of ASD Book 2. For the most part it is the same as the old edition however the chapters are broken up more and the last set of chapters (cha 64-epilogue) have been completely changed to flow smoother with book 3. So if you have read this story before July 8th 2008 then you should reread the last chapters. I'm sorry to make these changes, but it was something that needed to be done. Also check book 1 for changes to chapter 1 and 48.

It is called Whispering Hills Academy. A strange all-girls school surrounded by a dreaded dark forest at the edge of reality. Few would venture near the grounds of this foreboding school, however it has become home to many lost souls. Girls with pasts that they would rather forget as they find themselves lost with no one but each other to confide in.
