Elisa's hand shook as she tried for the second time to unlock her front door.
Fox's agreement of no sex had done little to ease the tension between them. All through dinner the red head had stared at her making it obvious that what she wanted to eat wasn't on the menu.
Their waiter spent most of the evening flustered staring between Elisa and Fox.
He'd blushed bright red when he asked Fox what she wanted for dessert. Fortunately Titania could see the mischeveous twinkle in her daughter's eyes and asked for the check. The touch of a warm hand on the back of the silk dress she wore startled Elisa.
She turned to see Fox watching her. "Is everything okay?" Fox asked. "Yes, uhmm new locks" Elisa fabricated, "I'm still getting use to them." She said.
The hand on her back slid down to her waist. Fox stepped closer glancing over Elisa's shoulder. Her hot breath washed over Elisa's neck. Elisa turned away from Fox. She bit her bottom lip to stifle a groan.
"In your line of work a deadbolt isn't the best protection you could have." Fox said. "I could pick that lock in less than sixty-seconds."
Elisa sighed in relief when the door poped open. She stepped aside letting Fox enter first. "You're not exactly an amateur but I'll keep that in mind." She said to the smirking red head.
Her two bedroom apartment was much more modest than the castle that Fox called home. But Elisa wasn't embarassed or ashamed.
She walked in behind Fox her hand freezing on the light switch realizing she could already see. Dozens of candles flickered softly illuminating the living room. The sweet aroma of flowers diminished the smell of burning candles.
Rose pettles were scattered across the hardwood floor. The detective had never seen anything more romantic in her life. The burning flames were reflected in her dark eyes as she looked on with awe.
She wasn't just touched by what she was seeing it was the fact that someone had gone to so much trouble to do something for her that moved Elisa. She suspected that someone was standing in the middle of her living room watching her reaction.
"I told you no more sex." Fox said. "From now on we only make love." The red head held out her hand. "Come here." Fox whispered. It was as if she were under a spell. In a few steps she was standing inches from Fox. She reached out entwining their fingers together.
Fox pulled Elisa to her closing the remaining distance between them. Fox's warm breath caressed Elisa's face. "No more sex," Fox whispered. Their mouths touched causing butterflies to erupt in Elisa's stomach.
Her hands slid around Fox's trim waist their lips clinging together. Elisa's tongue traced the red heads bottom lip enjoying the soft moan that elicited from Fox. She could feel the vibration between her legs.
Fox opened her mouth greeting Elisa's tongue with her own. Their tongues dueled back and forth tasting each other. Elisa broke the kiss her lips trailing down Fox's jaw. Fox arched into her rubbing her body against Elisa's.
"What are we doing?" Elisa husked out. Leaving a trail of hot kisses along the column of Fox's neck.
Fox ran her fingers through the dark silk of Elisa's hair. "I'll explain it to you later," was Fox's breathless reply. Fox grabbed a handful of Elisa's hair pulling her head up.
She pressed their lips together in a hungry kiss. Elisa felt her feet leave the floor. Fox craddled her in her arms as the kiss continued and she walked them into Elisa's bedroom.
