Chapter 1

[Author's notes: hope u likey! ^^]

 September 4, 1749

I woke up on the cold hard ground, I could still feel the power surging through my body, through every blood stream. It felt good, and the night before I can almost remember everything, I’m gaining more control every time I use it. I looked down to find my armor bent and busted, but fortunately my trustworthy sword still hung down my side, I was thankful. To think a year ago I was merely human, so worthless, so powerless. Now my power is unstoppable, this gift a treasure has changed me in many ways. My ice blue eyes turn the deepest blood red and cat like, my ears go pointed, my short light blonde hair turns long and a midnight black, my nails grow longer sharper almost like talons,  a tail and fangs spouts out like an animals, and I’ve gradually been growing. About an inch a month now, I was only five foot six, I’m now five foot eleven. Its been a whole year since I’ve found it, the power that is.  I felt a drop and then a sting on my left cheek. I reached up and touch it looking at my finger. Blood, I pulled out an old healing herb from my pouch and rubbed it on the cut it stopped stinging and went away in a matter of seconds.
One year earlier,
Shzzzpp, shzzzp, shzzp. The sound of my new sword slashing though the hay dummies was music to my ears. I dreamt about being a warrior all my life, even when my mother died I kept training. No matter how long I’ve been alone I’ve never given up and I never will. I don’t have any friends, and I suppose I never will. Everyone in my village is afraid of me, afraid of a five foot six, fifteen year old girl. I like it though, when I walk by people scurry away in fear it makes me feel a little more powerful, but I’m not satisfied with  it I need more strength, more mental power . The villagers aren’t afraid of just my expert swordsmanship, they are scared of my use of levitation and telekinesis. It’s  only a simple power of having control of certain part of your mind, any of these fearful people could learn it with training.
I look around me all of the dummies I had made, were on the ground sliced in half. I smiled the sword I had made worked much better than the last one the handle was sturdy the blade sharper. I smiled picking up my steel plated shield from under the old oak tree I usually sat under to read. I needed to wash, my tan man’s shirt was sweat drenched, my brown tights clung closer to my long pale legs, I could even feel sweat in the soles of my tan sandals. I headed to a small pond about ten meters east of my old shack that I call home on the edge of town. I looked around, no one in sight as usual. I sat my sword and shield beside a stump near the edge of the pond, then stripped from my clothes placing them on top of it. I slipped my toe in the water it was warm, “That’s unusual for this season.” I thought to myself, but ignored it and went ahead and dived in. the warmness of the water soaked into my sore muscles making me relax. It felt good to have the water warm for a change. Living so close to the mountains, made the water fairly cold most of the year.
I looked up at the graying sky. “Looks like another storm’s coming pretty soon, better hurry it up.” I thought to myself closing my eyes in frustration. With a deep breath I went under the water to clean my face. Opening my eyes slightly I saw a glimmer out of the corner of my eye. I came up for a breath and moved closer to where I had saw the glimmer. I dived back under spotting the object again I grabbed it. When I came back up it was raining and lightning, I examined  the object it look like an emerald in the shape of a moon. As I started for shore I felt a jolt of electricity run through my body the last thing I saw was the moon shaped emerald.

Chapter 2

[Author's notes: heh chapter two.....any contrutive criticisim helps! hope u like! ^^]

When I woke I was under the old oak tree the sun was just rising, then I realized I was naked and covered in blood, I didn’t know what had went on the night before. When I stood up my chest throbbed, looking down I found the emerald embedded in my chest. “There she is! Get her!” I heard a man shout and point at me. I was scared for the first time in a while I was scared. So I ran, I ran as fast as I could into the mountain forest, naked, with no food, water, or weapons. I was now rouge. Later that evening while walking through the thick greenery I heard voices, curiosity taken over me I walked toward them. When I saw a fire I slowed down looking for a place to eavesdrop on their conversation. Not knowing where I was from wandering all day, I needed some type of information. It was almost dark  any way so It’s going to be easier on me to hide. Hid in a tall bush about five meters away I started listening to there conversation.
“I can’t believe a girl slayed that whole village and all in one night.” one of the four men told the rest, his voice in almost disbelief. I looked down at my blood stained hands. Thinking to myself “Could this have been me?” I looked back at the group of men, then I noticed their luggage. It was perfect all I had to do was wait till they were asleep, then I could get a pair of clothes, some food, and a canteen of water, that would be enough to keep  me alive. I waited a few seconds a heard nothing, and with looking around I saw nothing. “Where had they went?” I thought to myself glancing around, then I felt a presence behind me I knew it was the four men. “So you’re the one who’s been spying on us eh’?” the big man who was talking before asked me a smirk on his face.
“Yeah and what if I was?” I asked covering  my exposed body parts, an attitude in my raspy voice.
“You’ve got an attitude problem don’t ya’ little lady?” the man asked grabbing my muscular arm.
“Let….go….of…..me.”I heard myself talk, but it was like I wasn’t the one talking. My voice became deeper as I felt a small growl rumble in my throat. I could feel a power surge through my lithe body. I smiled up to the guy gripping my arm.
“What is s-she ?” he stuttered as I twisted his arm forcing him to let go of mine. Then the emerald in my chest started glowing I felt an unbelievable power release through my body.
“Arrrrggh!” I screamed and again felt It wasn’t me. I felt my body changing, my short blonde hair turned pitch black and cascaded down my back only a few inches from the ground, my ears stretched out through my hair and pointed at the end. When looking down at my hands I realized the long sharp nails and felt the razor sharp fangs I now possessed. I felt no shame in my nakedness now, for a long wolf like tail spouted out. “Ahhh!” I howled in agony as I felt my chest throb in pain, I saw what looked like a sword’s handle expanding from the moon shaped emerald. My hand shaking I grabbed it and pulled it out. “Ahhh!” I howled again as a meter and a half sword trusted from out my chest. I then looked up at the four men staring in total fear at me. I laughed my voice now deep and demonic, as the four men shook frozen in fear. I ran toward them, feeling my real self go in and out of consciousness, I threw the heavy sword over my taller frame, and blacked out.
I woke up looking at the fire the four men from the night before had been camping at. I was still naked, and had what looked like fresh blood covering my arms. “I’ve did it again.” I thought to myself “I’ve killed four more and without so much as a scratch on me.” I smiled to myself “I’ve discovered an unstoppable power.”

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fully dressed , rested, full, and clean I lugged the heavy duffel bag over one of my boney pale colored shoulders, and started walking. I had a long day ahead of me and I needed to get a move on. I followed a trail that I suspected to be the one the four men had used, hoping it would bring me to there village. About noon I stopped at a clearing that just so happened to have a nice tree, full of juicy luscious peaches. I grabbed the first one I saw and headed a few feet over to sit on a huge golden grey colored rock. I sat down on the luke warm surface, my baggy men clothing now making me look even more as if I was the other gender.
I took a bite of the succulent reddish orange fruit  looking up at the glaring but beautiful sun, that shone upon me, turning my white blonde hair a silverish color. I grinned my large ice blue eyes shone I had a adventurous future ahead of me and nothing to get in my way of living my life long dream, killing that bastard of a king that took away the one person who loved me, my mother.
After throwing the pit of the peach over my shoulder and wiping the streams of liquid from my face I hopped from the rock hearing the sound of a small twig break in the distance. “Who’s there?” I growled trying to use the deepest voice I could. Hearing nothing I glanced around me trying to spot the person or thing that was near. Then another twig snapped this time it was only a few feet away. But because of the thick greenery it was impossible to see anything. “I said who’s there?!” now I was angry I could feel the venom like power growing inside me, my talon like nails and razor sharp teeth spouted once again. Then I heard a light yelp as a young girl around the age of fourteen stumbled from the woods her light blue dress torn, small smudges covering her half exposed arms and slightly flushed cheeks, she stood there brushing off her stained dress and straightening out her expensive looking hat and gloves. I just stood there looking her over she was the most beautiful person I had ever seen. Her cheeks were smooth and rounded, brown tresses cascaded down to the middle of her fragile looking back. Her big brown eyes glistened in the early afternoons sun along with her pale radiating skin.
After a few minutes of tidying up the goddess of a girl looked up finally noticing me, a small gasp escaping her lips. “Oh! I didn’t notice you standing there, I’m sorry.” she said in a light voice looking down as if she was ashamed that she hadn’t noticed me. She look so innocent so, so cute! I don’t even know who she was yet she is the first person who I’ve ever felt nervous about being around.
“Oh, um its no problem, I’m the one who should have said something.” I stuttered out a slight red tint colored my face when she looked up at me a smile on her face. I stood there feeling awkward my one hand nervously rubbing my neck as I avert my eyes to the dark brown, dirt below me.
