3 months later Jaylen was cutting up vegetables in her kitchen. There would be a rush on soon so she needed to be prepared. She heard the door behind her open and brush close. Jaylen turned to the person
“Hey sorry… we are not open for another hour, and you can’t be in the kitchen” says politely to the brunette.

They went outside. Hailey looked around then back at the sign “Beachside Café, you did good with the place”

“yeh… I fixed things…. I warned you about the raid and I cleaned out your bar, disposed of Leon’s stuff under my supervisor’s nose. I did everything I could to protect you from it. I wanted you to walk away, to get out of it but you’re a stubborn bitch who wouldn’t get the hint. I nearly blew my cover to keep you safe.”
Jaylen drank and went over things “you stole drug money to pay for my café, under your boss’s nose too”
